Ofc everyone hates it. Its new.
This is about the myers rework.
All I see is complaining and complaining. Is everyone seriously saying that this is less fun than instantly downing survivors and maybe losing your power over the match? This is SO much more fun, but i understand that the dbd community hates fun lol. Please keep this until the ptb id really love to try it out 💙🤍

I think people largely dislike the pig dash being added to Myer's kit. The extended lunge Myers has currently is an M1 so there's finer control you can have over it.

Dashslop is such a stupid term. This rework is a great way to give myers more chase lethality whilst removing 99'ing tier 3 to instadown a survivor.
It's not that different and it's not that similar to other killers. Myers absolutely needed a rework.0 -
Its just people who are set in their ways/playstyle and don't want to change. The easiest thing to do is complain when something is new & untested.
Myers seems a lil odd with the charged up lunge but besides that, W.

I only hate two things about it everything else i love about it and new changes and reworks.
So the two things i want fully adjusted is his stalk meter being depleted as soon as he triggers his dash lunge ability
Second thing is look at how hard and sluggish it is to control that.
They should make it just into coup perk like lunge control factor.
Allow ability to have regular mouse sensitivity or controller to influence if you can flick on the survivor tightly looping the pallet as in the gif you can clearly see
A) survivor took wide approach didnt loop the loop tightly like majority of players survivors do once u hit 60+% killrate on any killer not just myers
B) DID not throw down pallet even if he knew michael now has obvious mode pursuer due to heart beat

I am just asking why.
Why would you change a killer that most agreed was the highlight of old DbD design?

Aka his stalk meter generally should be only wasted while using the dash ability aka give him like 3 dashes until he needs to switch mode and fill it up back again.
And then there is the fact there is no optimal balance between stalk and pursuer mode like there is right now with tier 2 vanity mirror

I don't like michael getting a dash. The rest is fine.

My only complaint is no more jump scare myers. That was my favorite build to play for kicks.

Ill rather them making it more of a baseline coup perk while u fill up the meter and then while u hold left click as see in gif u can gain the speed buff bonus while holding the lunge and it drains the stalk meter.
Legit helps higher mmr lobbies where players know what they are doing and head to shack and u want to catch up to them before they reach the pallet or a window.
The current visual difficulty of the new dash like ability im seeing is very sluggish and does not do him justice for his way of building up stalk
I want it to not be a dash more like extended coup perk baseline lunge that gives him that edge but wastes his stalk while lunging at them

There is nothing confirmed yet about vanity or scratched mirrors.
And rn stalk mode gives him undetectable at 4.2ms speed which sucks

We don't know that though. The patch notes say they are changing all his add ons. The map offering change already killed scratched mirror. They may have buffed it now.

Because it's old!

I just hope they lock Evil Incarnate. I didn't suffer through old Myers and a sea of locker hopping, jerk survivors to have my achievement trivialized by some base-kit mori.

I disagree, but to each their own I guess.

I'm reserving judgement until PTB, but as someone who plays alot of both Myers and Pig, I'll be a bit disappointed if they wind up feeling too similar in chase (that gif in the pinned post just seemed like a copy of ambush). Myers felt so good after his last update, and i know we can keep old Myers but having to use an iri add on to do so kind of sucks lol

I don't think it should be locked but i also think the achievement was horribly designed from the very start and should have been addressed far sooner. People will see the date you unlocked it anyway so thats something
3 -
its called dashlop because it creatively bland. i can think of multiple ways to made different kinds of dashes, but instead its just an almost identical copy of chucky or pig.

This is exactly why it's stupid. It's oversimplifying because you aren't looking into the details enough.
It's a charged lunge that instadowns and breaks pallets. Myers will not play like any other killer.1 -
Most also agreed that Myers and Trappers were both bottom tiers, in comparison to every other killer, and no amount of number buffs were gonna change that.
There's only so much one can do with the power he had, without reworking it entirely.
3 -
Cause his design was problematic and people asked for it and we are not old dbd anymore?

Because only thing that was kinda ok in current dbd was tier 2, tier 1 was slow and not playable (maybe with mirror but now indoors werent almost guarantee so unplayable) and tier 3 was bad without tombstone or with addons momorial + lock of hair tier 3 was slow and what it gave you only instodowns for 60 seconds with no mibility and 25% increased lunge (there are perks that do that and better, every survivor will predrop) and slightly increased vaulting speed like 10-15% so thats all compare it to larry he has 60 or more % increased vaulting speed and
breakingspeed with easier ways to trigger it that mayers getting tier 3, oni has work harder to get power but last 45 seconds gets instadowns and dash attack with demon dash (one of best mobilities in the game which can plazer control to get where he wants). Only thing mayers was good at is tombstone, ability to kill survivor like sadako without even hooking him but compared to sadako tombstone is easier to get ot it gets you free hook from locker even wheh you dont even have it. Only tier that was kinda good was tier 2 base killer with 16 meters tr and like 5% increased vaulting speed, tier 1 was trash and tier 3 was lacking power compare to the time and effort you have to spend to get it.0
