If the new tunneling and slugging mechanic nerfed why don’t they do something about gen rushing?
Maybe add certain things for basekit on killers like a basekit thanophobia and basekit dying light or something. Make gens slower for each injured or hooked survivor

The way I see it, I want these tunnel/slug changes to take effect first just to show the effect of optimizing the gens, and how it effects certain killers more than others.
We'll see what happens, and since BHVR does have killer side adjustments on the horizon, I'm sure it'll be considered if it becomes a massive issue on killrates.4 -
gen rushing is a figment of your imagination, stop chasing the first survivor you see ! tag them if you can then leave and find the gen getting doubled !!!!

Read the patchnotes.

That's why I said: Read the patchnotes.
Basekit BBQ and Chili is in there.

You get a basekit increased gen kick for spreading hooks.

I take it you missed the part where they SPECIFICALLY mentioned they're giving killers base-kit BBQ and Chili?
4 -
Not to mention added regression on kick as a reward for not tunneling.

It's literally what you asked for.

I did actually. Killing a survivor before 6 hooks states giving he rest of the survivors a repair speed bonus on gens for the rest of the trial. To me they can pair it with their gen speed builds with toolboxes hyper focus stakeout prove thyself etc. The game favors survivors so much. But what about some basekit as added for killers? Basekit BBQ and Chili would be nice
What's that last sentence say?

I think that MDRSan was referring to this part of your post's title:

Not every killer can benefit from cropped BBQ and Chilli pseudo perk. Especially the ones who don't have high mobility power. On top of that from what I've red the BBQ and Chilli effect will work on survivors who have same or lower number of hook stages, it won't necessarily trigger on every survivor on the map.
The biggest concern that I have is that killers are not allowed to kill survivors until there are 6 hooks performed prior. I don't see why it's ok to literally dictate people how to play killer in asymmetrical game who is alone but survivors have the full freedom of actions retained.
-2 -
this only helps the high tiers since they have some form of mobility/pressure to capitalize so if you're playing trapper or ghostface it won't help as much as blight or kaneki
-1 -
That’s not gonna help much BBQ and Chili is easily countered all they can do is hide in the locker. If they're hiding in lockers, they aren't doing gens, granting you your desire of slowing down the gens.

Let's see how the anti tunnel goes first I guess.
I think this is long overdue and I warned everyone bragging about how they tunnel because of gens, that this was going to be the inevitable outcome.
2 -
They're also giving haste at the same time. I doubt Trapper will be zooming around like Kaneki but it's something to help bridge some of the movement gap. They're not giving as much haste to killer that are already mobile.
True the aura read won't show you survivors with higher hook states but if you have everyone on death hook then you're doing pretty well anyway.
Killers are still allowed to do whatever it is they want to do - no one is stopping them. All they're doing is making it less efficient to tunnel so that it is no longer the optimal choice in most scenarios. Survivors don't have the freedom of action you seem to think they do. They can run - that's pretty much it.
2 -
With 6 hook change requirement, they grant certain survivor an immunity from death because the penalty of no gen regression is too great. Essentially this means that cases where killers could make a comeback from a rough start will no longer exist because the idea of ''switching'' targets all the time may not be applicable to the very large partition of current killer roster.
-1 -
The 6 hook states are tied to a different effect - granting a repair speed bonus to the remaining survivors.
Sacrificing or killing a survivor that was the last player you hooked is what triggers generators not being able to be regressed or blocked. It can only happen when you are removing a player from the game and only under specific circumstances (they were the last person you hooked).

No matter what the patch notes says.
Gen perks will still be able to stack with each other and with toolboxes. We need a fix for this.
Killers are being deprived of their braindead strategy to turbo tunnel, but survs can still brainlessly rush gens.-1 -
im just baiting bwo yall are funny

You say 'brainlessly rush gens' like it's some sort of insult. Do you think there's some sort of skill difference between clicking on a gen with a toolbox or perks and without a toolbox or perks? It's the same action.
Apply a little gen pressure, learn when breaking chase is the better play, and quit whining about gen rushing. Maybe try hooking some different survivors - you'll get free pop goes the weasel.

You at least need a certain skill lvl to tunnel since you have to beat the surv in a chase and sometimes avoid other survs that are trying to protect their dying teammate.
There's no skill in making gens go faster than they should.
Learn how to loop efficiently, learn how to avoid the killer or lose him/her in a chase and quit winning about tunneling. Maybe try learning the killer counterplay - you'll not need to rush gens.-2 -
The point in my post has flown straight over your head. Do you think it's any MORE skillful to do a gen without a toolbox?
Also, if killers frequently ran into survivors that could loop as well as they claim they should be able to the collective whining would drown out the background noise of the universe.

No. With or without perks/items doing gens is always the same.
Doing gens at normal speed is giving the killer a fair chance to fight back much like not turbo tunneling.0
