Dracula Changes 9.2.0
Hi everyone, My name is Bleak and I am a Dracula main that has devoted so much time into this character to the point where I only have mained this character since his release and even PTB alone. I wanted to cover the Dracula changes and I know we don't have the numbers yet until the actual PTB notes but I did want to raise some concerns I have about what is going to happen.
Vampire Form:
- Slightly Reduced Hellfire Cooldown: Amazing, I'm sure its going to be 9 seconds so W.
- Increased Total Hellfire Pillars by 1: Amazing, myself and other Dracula players have always said that Dracula should have an extra one base kit .
- Reduced Hellfire charge movement speed: If this is the movement speed you move at when you start charging hellfire I do not like this as one thing about survivor counterplay for Hellfire is that it is INCREDIBLY easy to Hold W from Hellfire the moment he pulls it up and that 1 extra pillar will not do anything for that. If it is the movement speed while you're having your Hellfire up that should not go through either. Dracula moves at 3.8 m/s when he is holding Hellfire and the thing about this is survivors are already faster than him so making him even slower is going to make it where he will never get Hellfire plays on certain maps like Lerys, Hawkins, or any maps where its incredibly easy to chain loops correctly.
- Slightly Increased Slowdown time after casting Hellfire: I personally feel like this was in an okay spot so I'm confused by this.
Vampire Continued: I really really don't understand why we're nerfing Vampire Form overall. If these compensation buffs come at the cost of Hellfire getting hit like this I personally would not take this. Vampire Form is his weakest form and if this is to solve the "zoning" aspect of Hellfire this won't do a thing. A Good Dracula or Killer player in general is going to know how to zone a survivor correctly into a tile they want and the same could be said about Deathslinger, Huntress, etc. Dracula is no different. These changes are going to make Dracula get punished hard for using his Hellfire so it will still make Wolf Form the obvious pick. I really feel like Hellfire should just receive buffs so people will get incentivized to use Hellfire and go for riskier plays rather than worry about if they're going to get punished hard because of these unnecessary nerfs.
Wolf Form:
- Increased Pounce Attack Charge Time: I personally felt like it was in an okay spot. I really thought the Dev vision with making Wolf Pounce .85 sec was to put it in line with Victor Pounce. There are some maps where its tricky to get pounces off due to the fact how curved the tiles can be but I personally played with 1 sec pounce charge time and if we're doing that (reverting wolf) I believe it should be okay but we shall do more testing since it's been awhile since that!
- Increased Scent Orb Spawn Time: Again I thought it was in an okay spot but again if we're reverting wolf buffs we got awhile back and making this 6 seconds it should honestly be okay.
Wolf Form Continued: If we are trying to change Dracula and bring Wolf Form down from other Dash killers this wouldn't really do much even if you gave wolf 1 pounce. Wolf Form is good at what it does because of the way its designed. The same way could be said about Blight and him having tons of map control/mobility. A Good side grade I would like to see for Wolf Form is maybe make him a little faster when he's in-between pounces? I feel like that alone could help people go for risky slide plays rather than just going for haste plays with scent orbs. I have been playing with Haste (batteries included and other haste perks) and yes I know I just talked about haste plays with scent orbs but having that extra haste when I'm sliding inbetween pounces made Dracula's Wolf pounce even more fun to use especially at looping areas like shack.
Bat Form:
- Increased movement friction to make flying easier to control: I love this myself and other people in my discord server have complained Bat Form can be hard to control especially on maps like Lery's or Hawkins so I am really really glad this was on the radar to adjust for Bat Form.
ADD-ONS:
Adjusted his add-ons: If we're going to change some of Dracula's Add-Ons I really hope we address some of the problematic ones that really need to get changed that don't fit into Dracula's kit or provide no value.
- White Wolf Medallion: Increases Killer Instinct by 40% while in Wolf Form anytime a survivor completes a rushed action - I should not have to explain why this add-on is bad but it has by far been his worse since it has made its way through the PTB somehow. This add-on alone provides no value to Dracula since 1. the number is so so minimal and even aside from that you already know where the survivor is at so I really hope this gets addressed and reworked maybe into something to buff wolf or maybe put force of echo's effect onto this since the add-on description says a trinket once used to call a great spirit guide and you use scent orbs to help guide you (force of echo increases scent orb spawn rate).
- Force Of Echo: Increases Spawn Rate of Scent Orbs by 17% - Again I would make this go to Wolf Medallion and have this changed to a Bat themed add-on as I am so confused why this add-on buffs Wolf as there is a literal bat on the cover add-on art and the description says "An Artifact that grants BATS (B A T S) even great senses in the dark. So hopefully that stuff can go to Wolf Medallion and we rework Force of Echo while deleting old Wolf Medallion in the process. I know we want add-ons to make people get introduced into the character but I believe force of echo could be a very good contender for that or even Chalice could be a good contender for that since scent orbs staying longer can help a player know where they have been.
- Medusa - Hinder by 8% anytime you teleport near survivors. I personally feel like this should be reworked into anytime you tp anyone screams around you since it fits Medusa as a character in general while also providing tons of information.
- Ring Of Vlad: Hellfire pillars home in on survivors but reduce pillars by 1: I don't like this add-on whatsoever it doesn't teach an actual player how to use Hellfire and its basically having Hellfire on training wheels. In certain situations it's actual a hinder to you rather than helping you. I really hope this add-on gets reworked eventually and with the current Hellfire extra pillar change you're basically not having a drawback since the extra pillar we normally would have lost is now base kit.
- Sunglasses: PLEASE REMOVE THE PENALTY. This add-on make Hellfire feel so sluggish to use and there are some instances where even going into shack with Hellfire or other loops it just feels awful to use. By far one of his worst Add-ons and I hope it gets the penalty entirely removed. I think having 1 Hellfire pillar as an add-on would not be problematic as you're using a whole add-on slot for 1 pillar and you're not really going for Hellfire distance shots at the end of the day when you're using Hellfire so it would be more of a fun use type add-on.
That should cover everything! I'll be back when the actual PTB notes drop and after I have done some testing but I really hope Dracula gets looked at carefully as some of the Hellfire changes can just make Wolf Form still be the superior pick over any other form in general.

Yea at first i was like sweet hellfire comes back faster and goes farther and his addons are getting looked at. But the fine print might make everything worse.
Ive found not just ring of vlad to be nothing but a self nerf, but alucard shield as well. You take an entire addon slot that does nothing for you the entire trial. They finnish the gens, open the gate and now theres like 70% chance you arent there at the time the door opens so they go through no problem. Or the other 30% where u are there but nobodies injures so they go through no problem. Or one or more are injured and you are at the door and they just dodge everything and go through no problem. Its like a 5% chance to actually knock someone down with that addon and then you have to fight anyone body blocking. The worst part of that addon is the survivors always go "i love that addon!" Because its nothing but a funny lightshow for them on the way out.

Showed this to my friend who is a Dracula (and Wesker) main and… He's pretty worried about everything EXCEPT the Bat changes.
Maybe the nerfs to Wolf Form will be worse than reverting what came from PTB (7 or more seconds for orbs to spawn and more than 1s to charge Pounce), he'll be even slower than Wesker while holding his power and it'll indeed be a 1s cooldown reduction (because it's the crappies they can do).
And now he is even more worried because he didn't saw the "Adjusted his add-ons." part until now.
He also think it's pretty stupid to have a reference from one of SoTN relics for the BAT being an add-on for the WOLF.😂0
