Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Patch 9.2.0 will destroy the balance

Well, I see a lot of people panicking and even outraged about the 9.2.0 preview, and with good reason. I understand that many hate tunneling and the slug, but there are already perks in the game to counteract this. In my opinion, the devs want to make the game easier for the survivor instead of improving bad perks that no one uses.

One of the points is that the killer himself will no longer have information about the prone survivor's location, since he can recover while moving.

One detail: the 90 seconds is only the first time; the next time it drops to 32 seconds, which will put an end to killers like Sadako and Pig.

Also, consider that there will be no more tier C and B killers as they will be beaten roughly.

The killer will still have info. Some vartiaion of BBQ is becoming baskeit, so you get free aura read. If you hook someone else, you'll find the prone one. But even if you don't, that's either 90 or 30 seconds they're on the ground not doing gens or being useful.

Anti-tunnel and anti-slug perks don't prevent those things. They just prolong the situation. That's cool that DH lets you take another hit but the killer will probably still keep coming if their commited to the tunnel. Unbreakable is one time use and you can just get slugged again.

People also don't really want to base their loadout around some people's obnoxious playstyes. But if you're really worried about losing your slug, then you can also take your own advice and bring perks to help you find them again.

This argument that lower tier killers are doomed has zero basis. People don't tunnel and slug in every single match. There are lots of people in the forum saying they never use those tactics. You can also still do both of them, it's just not as free and easy as it was. Basekit Overzealous isn't going to automatucally save a team if someone is tunneled out with no gens done. It just gives them a tiny bit of hope they didn't have before.

many sadakos and pigs use the slug as a way to put pressure on those in power...

They will need a lot, big buff or rework if we talk about weaker killers so they can go for hooks without need of tunnel.

And? Does not change the fact that you cannot really gauge the kind of buffs they need as long as tunneling exists and inflates the Killrates.

Or would you say those Killers should get less Buffs and tunneling should stay in the game as it is?

They need buffs asap trapper needs rework and now bhvr is cooking it, the changes are kinda ok but weak killers need compansation not only in bonuses with hook spreading but buffs to their basekits so they arent that held back by their weakness if they willl be then this patch is just telling players to pick stronger killers and it might make solid shift in killer variety deffinitly temporary but even pernament even know many survivors beg to get more bubbas and other killers they dont see that often not just wesker, blight, ghoul, ghoul, blight etc. so why make it much herder for that player who wants to play bubba and force him to rather pick different killer so he wont be in disadvantage by just choosing killer because of one patch.

There's no way that you're downplaying the massive effect an extra health state + speed boost can give you. There's a reason why DH is STILL one of the most used perks in the game after half a dozen nerfs.
