So erm.. in next patch, if Killer lose 3 Gens for just one down, the match's basically over?

You can invalidate every change in DBD by just saying "or you play Trapper". I dont really see this as an argument.

While not to encourage that arguement being used to death of course. I wish this patch would have came with more for those killers. Because while people can say "you have a buffed kick base bbq and haste just leave the hook!" And we dont know the numbers. If its like 5% for 10 seconds and the kick is like 10% and the BBQ. It still makes no logical sense on a majority of maps to leave the area as a m1 or close to m1 killer (even pyramid head who was recently buffed and is considered a pretty good killer) because of just the pains of no mobility in a characters kit. And I doubt they plan to give every killer with no mobility a mobility button because that'd take ages and get boring quickly. So gotta hope these numbers are substantial or its gonna be a lot of pain for a lot of people who wanna play these less fortunate options. Because not everyone wants to be ghoul, blight, billy, or nurse.

what kind of mindset is that? sounds dangerously like " i got hooked in the first minute; time to give up on hook" sort of thing.
-3 -
It's poorly worded but i'm tired of people thinking they should win 90% of the time by default. In most PVP games winrates typically fall between 40% and 60%, only in dbd you can win 1900 blight games in a row if you tunnel hard enough

I think it is difficult to implement Buffs for Killers which might be affected the most by those changes if we dont know how much impact those changes have, let alone how much is kept of those changes. I dont have much hope that much is kept given BHVRs track record when it comes to things like this.
And in general I feel that individual Killer Buffs always make more sense then general Buffs and if they see a drop in Killrate for some Killers, they can easier tackle those specifically when they know how much impact the changes have on them. Sure, they could gigabuff a few Killers right now, but we would not even know if the Buffs might be too much, not enough or whatever.
This is something for the time after players got to play with those changes for a few weeks and see how impactful they actually are.

Like the opposite where every killer buff helps top tier killers only?
-2 -
A few weeks? I'm sorry, do you think they're going to rework/buff the killers that are DEFINITELY going to need it in a couple of weeks? Try a couple of years, if ever. After all, we're STILL waiting on the Skull Merchant rework. They nerfed her a year ago, and all we've had to show for it since then was a couple of Microsoft Paint sketches MONTHS ago.
But I'm sure BHVR will get right on those individual killer buffs lolol.

I think there should be a form of counterweight that measures how survivors are doing in relation to the killers six hooks, cause yeah, losing situations as killer can feel down right hopeless as is and killing someone before 6 hooks is often a last resort many killers have to fall on when placed on the back foot in matches, which can happen regardless of skill level. Maybe an enraged mechanic if a killer has nobody on death before all gens are done, but that would be its own headache to fine-tune tbf

Average has no meaning when we're talking about bad start right here.
Besides, it's not necessary ONE chase for 90 seconds. For example you spend 20s chasing the first guy you've found, realize he's a very strong looper, so you have to switch target. That 20s is wasted for no benefits at all. And now you have to spend more time travel and find another. If second one is also a strong one, well you waste even more time.
And since first chase is always the hardest as Survivors have FULL map resources to protect them, this is just not an uncommon thing to happen.
Does Killer deserve to straight-up lose in this scenario?

if u play pig and get a headpop earlier in the game u lose the game
Where does it say that?
8 -
Hmm I think he's trying to say "Why am I getting punished when Survivor makes mistake and died because of it"
Honestly this system shouldn't ever punish Sadako/Pig

Where does it say that, though? What's the repair boost %? Is it enough to offset a dead survivor?
6 -
It doesn't necessary have to offset a dead survivor. It's the mere concept of punishing Killers for Survivor's own mistake makes it quite hard to bear with. It just doesn't feel good and justified.

Neither does tunnelling, so tit for tat.
3 -
Neither does genrushing...

So, I can't find a source, but others have said that BHVR confirmed an early head pop/condemn doesn't trigger the system.
Regardless of source, that's what ptb testing is for: to see if this does or doesn't work. Because all we have right now is speculation (or for some people, simply panic or manipulation).

My favorite Forum User, I only used your own example. If you now think that you own example (you tried to base an argument on it) is inaccurate, this is not really my fault.
This post of yours does not change your "argument" in the slightest btw. And yes, Killers deserve to lose when they play bad. Same as Survivors, they deserve to lose when they play bad. But for some reason one is not really accepted on this Forum.

This is not true at all. In general, every general Killer Buff helps every Killer. It is more the impact said Killer Buff has. Which is why individual Killer Buffs are always better than general Killer Buffs, since with general Killer Buffs you have to keep in mind the Top Tier Killers and therefore a general Killer Buff will always be less impactful to weak Killers than specific Killer Buffs to the same Killers.

Ah, yes, survivors doing a gen, absolutely unfair.
4 -
ah yes, killers killing, absolutely unfair…
-5 -
Why, does a gen not have fun if it's completed before it can accomplish anything in a match?
5 -
A timely completed gen is one step closer to escaping without worry.
-3 -
You have identified the win condition for survivors. Unfortunately, they do need one of those, or they'd have nothing to play for.
8 -
We are very close to Killer Mains asking for Exit Gates to be removed.
6 -
Inb4 'why do survivors get 2 exit gates?'
6 -
Punishing a killer would be like, reducing their emblem score or their BP gain or giving them a queue penalty. Giving survivors a modest repair bonus so they're only clapped and not giga-clapped is not a punishment for the killer
3 -
There's literally nothing else for survivors to do in 95% of matches. Maybe there's a hex totem to cleanse or a VHS tape to deliver, but mostly it's just gens. The killer's task is to maintain pressure and keep the survivors off the gens and busy unhooking, healing, and running.
