Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

About the Upcoming hook incentives .

having a semi basekit pop , furtive and bbq is not the same strenght for all killers . Firstly the gen regression needs to be applied on hook ( rework Pain ress to balance this) . The reason is that even on live version perks like pop are not as usefull on the low tiers for two reasons . They lack the time and mobility to go around kicking gens even if they can see auras it doesn't mean they will get there on time . Killers like billy and blight even with a nerfed version of this will still make better use of it believe it or not . I would propose 3 tiers of this benefit in terms of how long the aura and haste last and the total regression peer hook ( instead of gen kick ) . Tier 3 would be the lowest values and apply to the killers BHVR mentioned . Tier 2 could be for other A tier killers ( singularity and spirit for example ). Tier 1 would be the bottom half of the roster who are weaker and could use the stronger version to bring them up . Again having the regression apply on hook would be universally equal to all killers and you could just tweak the values so it is not an issue on the high end killers . Leaving it to a gen kick after hook will just further break up the top ( mobility killers ) from the bottom who have very little macro and ways to reach gens . Toughts ??

    Completely agree with you.

Basekit Pop is one of the worst parts of BHVR's attempt to balance anti-tunnel with rewards. Fast/mobility killers will be able to take full advantage of this, meanwhile slower killers will have to cross map.

The regression/slowdown aspect of these balance changes needs to be passive. Instead of Pop it should work more like Pain Res as you suggested and be passive. Requiring killers to go out of their way to kick an important gen that could be on the opposite side of the map to get their reward for not tunneling is just silly.

Hopefully corrupt intervention will be a basekit too.

This will help the M1 killer in the early game.

This should be anti gen rush.
