Map offering changes really killed scratched mirror myers
its a shame as the jumpscare myers playstyle was the most fun you could have in dbd. Now if i pick a offering to go to lerys im probably gonnna get coldwind as a map where everyone can see you from a mile away. If you wanted to change map offerings just have when survivors choose an offering have it be 20% and if the killer does it have it have a very high chance.

To date, my absolute most favorite game I've ever played was spoon Myers. It's was years ago, but I still remember it.
I took them to Lery's, got to jump scare absolutely everyone at least once and then was planning to just let everyone go for giving me a fun game.
I had Meg trying to bless my haunted ground totem, and I shook my head and told her no. Hooked her trying, but she kept going back. She finally blessed it (circle) and healed while exposed while I was standing 3 feet away looking from her to the totem in disappointment the whole time.
Feng got the memo and actually chased me around the map for a bit, and even threw the pallets for me since I couldn't.
Absolutely hilarious game, and hopefully they had fun too. Though I think Jeff might've jumped out of his skin at least once.

Good. It was boring and annoying to face.

Hell no. Last thing we need is killer sending survivors to midwich or haddonfield lmao

Hard disagree. Playing as and against a good SM Myers on an indoor map is the most fun I've had playing this game. The closest it can get to being actually scary.

They now killed old Myers entirely :(

To be honest map offerings change was needed but devs kinda forget about mayers but now its not problem because theres even question if mayers after his rework will be even with simular addon if so then it should have map offerings in that addon.

The most fun i had with scratched mirror Myers was in private games. Being in voice and hearing the screams makes it so much better. It wasnt even with friends just find-a-kyf-lobby.
With that everyone had fun. When i played it in public lobbies, many enjoyed it but also many hated it. Even when i two hooked everyone and never camped. But thats the thing: you can make this combo really miserable to play against if you want. At the same time it feels really bad if people know how to counter it and also have the right perks for it.
So while i really like it, i think its better that its hard to pull off in public lobbies.

I think they should have kept offerings as they are for killers, but when a survivor burns one, it reduces that map's odds instead.

I mean, this was to be expected. If the Map Offering Change comes thorugh, certain Killer Builds are not possible anymore. And I highly disagree with the proposal that the Killer should have a very high chance to get a Map, because this would not only make some "fun" Builds like Mirror Myers possible again, but also every Nurse which throws Midwich etc.
Aside from that, I think Scratched Mirror Myers is just not good anymore. It is a Fun-Build, but the DBD-Community nowadays does not do Fun-Builds without the intention to still 4K. So in my experience, instead of trying to jumpscare people, wait around corners to hit them or try to grab them from Gens, Scratched Mirror Myers was mostly played as "hurr durr no Terror Radius, so I camp next to the Hook", which is not fun.

Agreed, Scratched Mirror lost its notoriety a loooooong time ago

Yeah, it was a very fun Build and I was also always very excited when going against a Scratched Mirror Myers, because it is a whole different feeling. But sadly not how the build was played for the past few years.

Sadly you're right. I always play(ed) SM Myers with almost no thought to winning, but just to scare the piss out of people a few times. I couldn't care less if I won so long as I got a few really good scares in. Like the you can tell they dropped their controller or took their hands off of the M+K because they were gotten so good type scares.
I'd even do cliched cheesy crap like just watching from down the hall. halfway around a corner, or through a window until they saw me.
Good times.

Could you elaborate on how he was boring or annoying to face? Like I understand it could be just a taste thing I just want to know your reasoning if you do have one.

100% agree here. I have had so many super-fun jumpscare matches on indoor maps.
I don't know how many times I have seen in the end-game chat after the game, people giving me praise for making the game scary again. Like re-living their first matches, when the killer was scary.1
