An easy fix to SWF
Just make it so when friends want to team up together, just make so that the game automatically forces their mic to be muted or deactivated. And yes this is possible, a few games have done this, it just takes awhile to implant into the system and codes, scripts etc. And yes, this means, if you are a youtuber or streamer, your voice won't be heard, too bad right? No, not really.

I've seen a lot of so-called "fixes" to SWF and this is probably the worst.

Yes, lets remove YouTubers and Streamers from the game, that's a wonderful fix lol. That's like taking sports and not broadcasting on television and wondering why nobody is watching lol.
YouTubers and Streamers bring players to the game. Removing that from your game is a sure fire way to destroy this already sinking game.1 -
@MrsPiggyIsSoSneaky that is not possible on PC or PS4. I don’t know about XBox. No game is allowed to disable party chat on PS4, and no game can interfere with another application that is running on a PC, so I don’t know where you got that idea.

Oh jesus just stop with this drama already.
Having friends to play with is not a sin, therefore SWF does not need any kind of change since not all SWF are "toxic" as many claim... or good at the game for the matter.0 -
They aren't going to touch it but they should meet the community half-way.
1) Show who was SWF after the game at the very least. This might make swf complaints go down a bit, as everytime a killer loses or has a tough game they automatically assume it's 4 man swf when in reality it was a 2set and 2 solos.
2) Offer bonus BP based on swf numbers. 2 man swf = 1.25x bp, 3 man = 1.5xbp, 4 man = 2xbp....or something like that. It might lessen the complaints a bit.

SWF in itself is good for the game, It's unbalanced that's the problem. Taking away the voice com would turn those players away and ruin the experience of playing with friends.
Killers and solo need the changes to be on the same level, not taking away from players who are just playing with friends.0 -

Yeah why would someone do that?... DBD after 2 years is actually going pretty good on Twitch.. Why would the Devs tank one of their best marketing tools?.. That barely costs them anything other then time?
