Switching the spectated player during a mori makes the see-through effect persist
SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:
While spectating, if you switch from a survivor about to be mori'd to another, the see-through-walls effect (the one meant to prevent the cinematic from being blocked by the environment) will continue to show for that area, even after the mori is over. Essentially, a kinda wall-hack for a spectator on a certain spot in the map, which could be used, for example, by SWF parties.
(…it's a bit of a stretch, but I do think there could be someone feeling creative enough to use that-)
PLATFORM:
PC, Steam
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: (assuming it's a public Survivor match)
1. Die (in-game)
2. Spectate a fellow survivor
3. Wait until they are about to get mori'd
4. Once the mori animation starts, swap to another survivor (via hotkeys)
5. Done <3
…granted, it only happened once, and it may also depend on other factors. For all I know, this could have been in the game before the PTB. But it's a bug, so I'll do my part and share what I know.
