Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Failure with Bug reporting on Forum?

I logged a bug extremely easy to replicate with a video demonstrating it, it was closed without any valid reason.

I noticed another report of what appeared to be the same bug was closed, again without details.

There is no option for me to open/amend or query why it was closed and hope someone can help me what I have done wrong?

Basically when playing Twin with mouse invertion enabled you find that when pull the mouse down, Charlotte look up but when Victor he looks down (without invertion).

Can anyone help as it is a huge and obvious issue for me when I try to play Twins and put a lot of effort creating the video to demonstrate.

Well it seems not to bother logging bugs from these replies then

The reason for its closure was given. They close any report that doesn’t strictly adhere to the format they provide.

Doesn’t look like any logs were provided given you were on PC too? Usually they require those if on PC

A video of the issue isn't a player log? What is a player log if not that, it doesn't appear to give detail when logging.
If this is a reoccuring issue, perhaps intructions to logging are needed or maybe it is intentionally done that way.

Have to ask the question then, what are these player logs on PC?

I should point out that the bug looking up and down with Victor and Charlotte being totally different whilst y axis is inverted can't be more obvious

To find the logs (PC only).

Press the Windows Key + R to open the "Run" command.

In the text box paste the following: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Logs

Click "OK" - this will open your Dead by Daylight Logs folder.

If it does not open the Dead by Daylight Logs folder, it may mean that when installing Dead by Daylight you chose to save your files somewhere else and will need to check there.

The file called "DeadByDaylight.log" is your log file.

    There ya go.

Thanks @Skillfulstone for the time but really this info should be linked.

Additionally the basic and obvious steps with description should be enough with invert view ticked, it feels more like they can't be bothered to log issue with the few that actually take the time to log an issue.
