Tool Boxes to Repair Pallets and Trap Windows / Pallets
As the title says, let Tool Boxes:
- Repair broken pallets - with drastically reduced Tool Box durability cost
- Trap fallen pallets so when the Killer tries to destroy it they get their foot stuck
- Trap windows so they fall in on Killers (Said window can then be repaired and a new trap set)

The killer mains are coming....6 -
Even if this was a thing people would still just gen-rush.2
-
How would that benefit the overall game?2

To be honest, I like the idea of Window Trapping. It might add some sort of strategy into the game.
But I am not sure if it can be balanced. First of all, SWF would have an advantage. Second, there needs to be a balance between making it nearly useless so that people dont care about it and making some areas too safe. E.g. a Trap like this should not deny a Killer to use Bamboozle effective. Or make a Gen Super-Safe, when it is surrounded by Windows.
Furthermore it should not be done via Toolbox OR can be done via Toolbox + Special Add-Ons, which will remove the option to repair Gens with those Boxes.Regarding changes to the Pallets:
No changes, Pallets are one of the Key Mechanics of the game. And so is destroying a Pallet to make it useless for the rest of the Match.0 -
No, thanks

Why waste time and toolbox on pallets? If the killer didn't break it during chase chances are its not close enough to the gens for them to care. You'll maybe get lucky with it as they do cleanup at endgame.0

Make the pallets spawn after a while.
Make the shack pallet spawn every 20 seconds.
Give us, survivors, the ability to hold pallets and throw them at the killer.

DbD is already easy for survivors. Why make it even more easy? Who likes to play a game that isn't the slightest bit challenging?

You are either new to the game or trolling. If you are new: Play both killer and surv for a couple more months.

Change number 1 give chest 100% ak-47 drop rate with 10 magazines and it instakills killers
Change number 2 killers will now have to do generators to escape.0 -

This is almost as bad as the tripwire idea someone had....

As a survivor main I would love to repair pallets... However after you've played killer for awhile..... HELLA NO!

Another example of why newcomers should keep their nose out of balancing questions.
