Why does survivor vaulting take priority over cloaked wraith breaking pallets?
title. just wondering if there is any reasonable explanation for this

Its just ping issue all that depends who is spaming space bar faster and has better ping. Tbh wraith should have priority in my opinion he is just mediocre killer who is m1 and its easy to loop.

Another fact is wraith with trapper are probably most bullyable killers from begging till now.

Because that's how it works on every killer, Wraith is just the only one who can't immediately attack you if you vault into them

He is mediocre killer, pure m1 with solid stealth and good map mobility which makes him very adaptive for every map and not dependent like some other killers such as trapper. He is easy to play asand in my oppinion easy to play against with his power which is easy to uderstand for both killer and survivor but that doesnt change the fact he is very bullyable with survivors vaulting dropped paletts and windows ove and over and all of that depends on who has better ping (if survivor has 20 ms and wraith has 40 ms then its almost impossible for the wraith do any breaking or vaulting action when he is cloaked if survivor isnt bodyblocked from side which is hard to do and not reiable or survivor makes some delay in spaming space thats just fact which every wraith main knows), he is m1 and these killers can be bullyed by survivors with items and perks quite easily.

That is certainly not the case.
Wraith has excellent stealth and decent anti-loop. Likewise he has excellent mobility and even better map pressure.
He is relatively easy to play, but does offer quite a bit after the removal of lightburn.
I'd say that people who say he can get bullied easily just aren't quite mastering him yet.

I think solid fix would be to dcrease his uncloak time when he is standing still (most wraiths move when uncloaking and even if he doesnt move he gets like 150% speed for one second which is like almost 7 meters in range but from standing still this range will be shorter because of some lost acceleration so nothing op if we reduce his uncloak time when he is standing still about 35-50%), another thing I would give wraith is some 20-25% breaking speed basekit while being cloaked and reduce this number in addons that do this. Last thing I would give wraith is something he had in 2017 or 2018 when was his huge buff in form of making him able to do many actions such as break,vault while being cloaked he got basekit bloodhund but only the part which has dracula wolf form for breighter pools of blood.

Angiloop only on unsafe paletts and stealth is good only if survivors arent looking around on open map he looks just like wet predator while he is cloaked and the vaulting part is just the fact you can do it to every killer but wraiths the one who cant hurt survivor when cloaked so it effects him alone and thats just like it works who has better conection vaults first if the both players preassing space repetiatly, mastering wraith isnt hard all he has are uncloak mindgames like 99% few times and watching survivor reaction and then trying full unvloak and getting hits, bodyblocking and positioning to cut survivor from safety etc.

Lightburn was total crap as billys overheat mechanic that effected nurse with not great effect and totaly destroyed wraith with long stun because survivor had just flashlight another reason why he was so byllyable back then.

He isn't top tier, but he isn't some ineffectual and easily bullied Killer.
He's solidly B-tier.

- Survivor vaulting doesn’t take priority. It‘s whoever spams the button the fastest.

I would say weaker b-tier but yeah he isnt bad but needs addons to be effective with his power.

Not only about who spams it faster but depends on who has better ping too and no its not his only counterplay but it works against him easily and its effective time waste for the killer.

I have seen some wraith main video where he said vault priority is based on ping and spacebar spam and he was trying to break palett some nea was vaulting over with 20 ms ping and he got like 43 ms, he spamed space fast but when she fished her vault he began breaking animation on palett but it got canceled and she vaulted again, and again this hsppened like 5 times and he was forced to uncloak and then he could break it normaly so I believe this is effected by ping as the wraith main said but I dont think the experts that are giving me downs are better wraiths then him and certainly know more that some guy who has few thousand hours on wraith.

What other counterplay does he have?
They always run bambuzle and insta break stuff, which makes windows pointless and pallets are instantly broken after you drop them when you don‘t do spam vault. He gets rid of pallets so fast that the map becomes a deadzones after a few minutes and then combine that with his stealth and his insane mobility.

Its just any action in this game or any game for that matter. Whoever has the best ping usually comes out on top when it comes to starting an action quicker.

It doesn't, it depends on whos ping is better and who pressed their input faster when the prompt becomes available.

What you mentioning is addon and some perks chase oriented wraith which is his best option probably, you wrote its his only counterplay ( vaulting some vault over and over) but you forget he is m1 to so he has same counterplays as trapper this one is specific against his power but good wraith can still bodyblock you but its hard. Wraith without fast break addons or reduce uncloak speed but he is still mediocre killer at his best and good noob stomper like legion.

He is not an m1 killer like trapper. He basically has a dash after uncloaking, which is a very good anti loop.

More likely cheap counterplay that is decided by ping, he is interesting in chase indeed but without breaking/vaulting or uncloak rediction addons he is just bad and requires way more skill than people think same as bubba without beat marks which are key for bubba to be able to outplay loops with his saw without them he is just eating paletts all game.
