So Chucky's manual Scamper was removed due to it being too unfair but you still give it to Krasue?
This is not a post about bringing back Chucky's old scamper (it was removed for a good reason), this is about BHVR trying to do the same thing, that failed, again expecting different results… I don't understand what's the end goal here, can anyone explain?

To be honest, I don't think the Krause "scamper" is unfair. Her vault time is 1.7s after the ptb, they nerfed it. Chucky's scamper was only 1.3s

yeah, but she can also do it without a cooldown and an attack that is VERY forgiving which also doesnt have a cooldown

If it have a cooldown, would be horrible, as the vaulting time is already pretty high. And her dash attack don't have a small cooldown, it's 3.2s, which is the highest cooldown in the game along with Victor.

She can't break pallet in head form but Chucky can break pallet.
Changing from head to body form to destroy the pallet every time is too time consuming.
Krasue's head form should be able to break the pallet, if vault the pallet got removed.

The scamper mechanic per Se is not a problem. It‘s what else the killer can do and how fast it is. If chuckies scamper was 1.7 seconds and he couldn‘t start slice and dice after it, it would have been fine.

Yea that's how it worked with chucky too, before his scamper got removed he was only able to vault pallets and not break them

Im not talking about an attack cooldown, im talking about how she can stay in head form with no repercussions while Chucky had an 18 second cooldown to go into hidey ho.
That 3.2 second cooldown is also minimal when taking into consideration literally every other aspect of the attack and she can make up the distance lost with head long flight AND the being 4.8m/s in head form.

I agree with you, but combined with the rest of her kit, she is utterly unstoppable in the hands of a good killer.
They need to address the lack of recovery cool-downs, her spit having auto-aim, and survivors staying infected after getting hooked. Only after those changes can we start talking about her actual balance.

I don't know if your comparison makes sense, Chucky had a 18s but he had stealthy and a very long dash along with scamper.

Originally Chucky did not have to do the dash attack to do the scamper just do the same Krasue is now doing so the comparison makes total sense.

So 18 second cooldown for a long dash, stealth and a scamper. Ok. Lets compare that to Krasue
-No cooldown
-4.8m/s
-Can vault/scamper (1.6 seconds, Chuckys was 1.4 at the time)
-Her attack from head form still has insane distance and can hit over small obstacles
-Can use headlong flight (7m/s) to catch up from the lost distance after getting a hit, only a 1.35 second exit time and can be immediately be followed up with an attack (only has a wind up of .2 seconds)
-3.2 seconds hit cooldown and miss cooldown is 3 seconds, while Chuckys is 3 and 2.25, big win! Only to then realize that again... she moves at 4.8 and doesnt have to wait 18 seconds to be able to do it again
So youre right, there is no point in comparing the 2 when 1 is objectively better than the other.

The only reason I can think of is that the Krasue's head is flying, making it look and feel rather strange that she can't fly over pallets.

I know the way to bring back manual scamper and here is how
Increase Hide Ho cooldown to 13 seconds (was 12)
I know it's only one second but I think in the middle of a cooldown it should be fine
Slice and dice speed 9.5 m/s or (5.5 m/s) (was) ( 8 m/s or 4 m/s)
To make people enjoy some what of the old slice and dice speed
Scamper can be done without performing a slice and dice but when performing a scamper though a pallet
(manually) you exit your power and it goes on cooldown (does not effect window scampers)
Increase scamper speed to 1.6 seconds (was 1.4)
To bring back old scamper but in a balanced way
Increase scamper dash speed to 1.1 seconds (was 1)
It just one Milla second more

I am once again advocating that Chucky regain Window Scamper while in Hidey Ho Mode (not pallet scamper).
It is a special vault specifically made to not play the survivor vault noise that Chucky has that made mind games and surprise attacks easier.
Now that it can only be activated by Slice and Dice, it is pointless as an ability. The devs even didn't remove it from the PTB where Manual Scamper was removed and nobody complained because it was a no brainier.
I agree fully that Pallet scamper on Chucky should have gone, but I genuinely hate that he doesn't even have an addon that lets him use the stealth vault for its intended purpose.
(I would talk about Krasue but I've said enough)

Just because two killers have a dash, doesn’t mean their abilities need to be balanced the same.
Pig doesn’t have any collision at all on her dash, and she was released before Krasue, and therefore Krasue shouldn’t have collision at all on her dash? Because that is balancing the powers the same too

at the minium we should we should have window scamper
and krasues vault was what chucky scamper should of been in the first place

Original chucky was just 110% killer who had lond 18 seconds cooldown but his hit was easy to get, manual scaper under palett, manual scamper through window vault which didnt made any sound or he could dash under the palett like he does now but his turnrate was almost as normal which made this issue even after his manual scamper was took away on top of that he could do 18 flicks so it was hard to not get hit when he was in slice and dice but nerfs he got were just to much, one of few killers on which devs beat their frustration, others are pig,billy.

i too dont understand this bhvr's obsession with giving pallet vaults to killers.
it has worked (barely) A SINGLE time and failed every other.

I mean, chucky's current scamper is actually quite fun, very niche but good enough!
