It's just me, or Survivors queue are getting longer?
Before the update it was like instant Survivor queue, and around 1 minute for Killer. But now I have to queue for 1-2 mins for Survivor, but almost instant for Killer. The BP Bonus becomes killer much more often than before.
It's just me or anyone feels the same?

no, here on the European servers the surv queue is instant (as always)

Can't speak for anyone else but same as above for me. EU servers, still feel as fast as they have been for me personally.

I love how people downvote this because they don’t like hearing that some players actually want to play survivor. What a wonderful place this is.

I am in US eastern time zone and with very few exceptions I haven’t seen any change to the historically normal queue time pattern even through the whole “all survivors are quitting” thing. Instant queues during daytime hours when there aren’t many people playing survivor with their friends, and long survivor queues/instant killer queues in the evenings when people are on with their friends playing survivor.
However, incentives are still broken (they have been for months and months now) and I will often see incentives on the role that has the longer queue time.-6 -
Same for killer especialy by night time thats when people play with friends which are like half of the survivor players in numbers.

Back when the PTB was canceled, I was sure that killer queues were only going to get longer, even more so than they were at the time. (I was completely wrong on that, thankfully.) I've been seeing more actual BP bonuses for killer! I've finally played some killer this week!
Oddly, even when there's a survivor bonus, I've been noticing it takes a bit longer to find a match than it used to. I'm not complaining, because it's only a minute, but it is weird considering there is a bonus.-1 -
Yes, the que time for killers have decreased, it used to be 8-10 minutes, now it's 2
Yesterday at 7 PM, the que time for survs were 2 minutes, and for killers like 6 seconds
Playing on killers has become more difficult because of palletes density (not just my opinion)
Also, there's some crazy stuff happening with matchmaking/generators repair speed (my opinion)1 -
Killler games where I am are instant and often have a bonus at night. Survivor party queue takes several minutes. Depends on the time of day though.

For me survivor queue time is instant with several minute long killer queue times for all but about 3-4 hours after midnight.
Yesterday was an odd anomaly - pretty much all day had killer queue times hovering around 10 seconds even when survivor queue times were low as well. Not really sure what was happening there - maybe Sundays are just like that and I've never paid attention.
Right now it's back to a 7:1 killer:survivor ratio.
There's no killer exodus - just people doom posting.

eu servers as killer are HELL around evening… so yeah makes sense xd

for me Ive noticed 3-4 squad take longer than solo for some reason. solo here in the west is instant basically

I’m in UK and while the incentive is always on survivor, 1.25 lowest, usually 1.5, occasionally 2.5 - killer queues are always instant until early hours of the morning but survivor I can often be waiting a minute or 2 until the morning hours when they become instant.
I usually play 9/10pm into the morning.MMR, time and region play a part in queue times but it’s weird never seeing the incentive switch still despite queue times suggesting they should be switching at times, but it’s been that way for months now.

Those numbers are not accurate at all. I am playing on that German server and I have some minutes of queue time as survivor since some weeks.

A few days ago, I opened up the game to do some survivor stuff. It had a bonus, but it was not instant. I didn't feel like waiting, so without playing a single survivor match (meaning I don't know how long the queue actually was), I switched to killer. The killer queue was instant. I played one or two killer matches to get challenges done and then turned off the game.
It was weird, because it was a time of day when survivor is usually instant and killer is a long ass wait, but I don't play DbD enough right now to know if that was a one-off or what.
I'm just sharing my personal experience. I don't know what server I'm on, I'm in the mid-western US.

Seeing a Survivor drought on Asian servers is pretty interesting.

On my experience people there more likely playing sfw. Or prefer to hop on killer instead, at least I had such impression playing against Chinese and Japanese players
And if you are playing sfw, queue would likely being higher
Few months ago people on Asian servers preferred killer role more as well as I remember

That makes sense.

Just swf with styptic all night.

me lets play some skull merchant today. also me gets badham first match of the day… (luckily got friendly survivors) but i did decide to log off afterwards…

Their sfws not that sweaty as EU’s one tho. They are preferring more safe but slow pace on both sides. So I noticed they aren't really strong in looping or chasing but their macro on both sides is generally more impressive and better than from Western
It's actually really unusual. For Europian servers u are like playing in atmosphere of short chases, short gens, on Asian one people more like fighting for resources. Of course they can easily tunnel /genrush. But in 3 vs 1 this game feels completely different compared to other regions. And their stealth is actually something. I remember I played some solo Q, and killer was always targeting me, because I was the most easiest to spot
They also really like expo, idk why, had a day when had this 3 matches in a row seeing full boon build
But ping… god sake me staying on their servers with 120 ms again

I'm over on Australian servers and it's still the same with killer taking 1-2 minutes with almost instant survivor queue.

5min q time for me…seems killers are in short supply in my region. cant say im surprised
-2 -
This. Nobody wants to play survivor, go figure.
-3 -
It's always been dependent on time of day for me. During the day (when I play) it's generally a few minutes for killer and instant for survivor. At night, it's instant for killer and a few minutes for survivor.
Ill add that I'm in Australia

Dead by Queue confirms it's purely by time of day. If you look at it afternoon vs evening per region, you'll see the times switch. Survivors have the longer queues in the evening while killers have longer queues in the afternoon.

Yes, but look at what's happening now (1 PM), I've never seen the que time for a trial as a killer be so low even during the day, it's 5 min max.
-1 -
Also, for my own post:
I'm not schizophrenic, we have a new wave of hidden cheaters again, literally in the last trial against the Blight, all our generators were 95% repaired from the start of the trial…-1 -
Depends on the time of day. In EU i notice survivor queues do get longer after 6pm and killer queues get shorter.
To answer to the question. Yes the survivor queues have gotten longer if we think about the peak gaming times.

I've actually seen killer BP bonuses in the wild for the first time since Kameki dropped 😶😶😶
