  1. Create a challenge where killers have to get a ton of hooks in the void, meaning killers have to enter the void quickly after Survivors do
  2. Meaning, killers have no choice about whether survivors enter the void at all and, in some matches, they don't
  3. Allow the event to happen on indoor maps, so that it's as difficult as possible to find the void on purpose

I got hook number 15 just now, and I felt like I had to answer the bell constantly. In three of my matches, survivors also had the temerity to follow me into the void so they could try to flashlight save in there.

And thanks for that — that helped.

But please, oh please — make the next challenge something I can control. Make it "go and get a haunt from the void" or something.

    As someone who has been playing a bit of survivor in this event I agree that it would be nice if there was some reason for survivors to actually go in there. As it stands it's just a death trap that doesn't reward you with anything particularly fun or powerful for risking going in there.

    Kicking pumpkins is basically the only thing this event has that doesn't actively discourage survivors from engaging with it.

    I hated doing that challenge.

    As survivor, I've seen killers who will drop everything and immediately go into the Void if a survivor enters it, and… yeah, I've used that to distract killers. I feel a bit guilty doing it, but when you're playing solo you take what openings you see (it's like mind gaming but without the interaction). BHVR shouldn't give survivors so much power over a killer's challenge.

    It's definitely do-able by the time the event finishes but I don't really enjoy quests that I can't do passively. The survivors that do go in tend to wait until I'm in chase with someone else, so I need to abandon chase to enter the void. Then once they've picked up on this, some use it as a clever distraction lol

    Lol just read your post after I'd posted mine. Don't feel guilty, it's clever gameplay. But yes it sucks 🤣
