Michael Myers is getting there
With some nerfs undone and some buffs on top in this bugfix patch, he actually seems quite decent to play now! Less themathic for sure, Slaughtering Strike just doesn't fit him and it's another dash ability on top of dash abilities, it would fit Ghost Face more I think, but gameplay wise a bit better for sure!
All he needs is a few things:
- Revert stalk logic
Previously it was way more themathic, stalk from afar to have faster stalk, and when you're upclose you stalk slower, which also served good gameplay purpose of you just not following Survivors mid-chase to gain stalk, you know, on a stealthy killer, which the current stalk logic lacks and actively promotes stalking from up close.
- Revert stalk range
For some reason this was nerfed to 32 metres to promote stalking from upclose even more… Give back the 40 meter range and nerf the add-on to 4 metres maybe, or not nerf it at all, we need to get rid of the add-on sidegrades, so Myers doesn't end up like the Unknown…
- Evil Incarnate should be better than both modes combined
Currently the values of all modes are a bit whack, some have longer lunge range some don't and yet some have better action speeds for some actions while the others lack them, it should be more consistent, either make it gradual, for example:
- Stalker Mode: 0% bonus vault speed
- Pursuer Mode: 20% bonus vault speed
- Evil Incarnate: 40% bonus vault speed
Or make Pursuer Mode and Evil Incarnate have the same action speeds for both modes (so in the example both would have 20% vault speed bonus), Evil Incarnate shouldn't be weaker in any manner compared to Pursuer Mode (yes this includes lunge range too), as I see it, Evil Incarnate should just be a boosted version of Puruser Mode that just gives access to Slaughtering Strike.
- Better animation for Evil Incarnate and breaking pallets with Slaughtering Strike
Right now those animations are just terrible I'm sorry, just playing the attack cooldown animation on tiering up doesn't cut it, give him back his Tier 3 stance with the knife or some other stance so it's easier to tell when Michael is in Evil Incarnate (and not a glowy knife please that looks really amatture)
- Reflective Fragment add-on adjustment
This add-on is just terrible, it makes your power 10x worse for no real benefit, it's better to just take Hair Bow which has a far less worse downside and you're golden. But I think there is something that could be done about it!
For example:
- Hitting a Survivor adds 20 seconds to Evil Incarnate's duration
- Slaughtering Strike only deals a single health state of damage unless fully charged.
Maybe this could make the add-on a little bit better!
But what do you think about the new Michael Myers? Is he still worse or better?
