For me most fun came from design of this character and how we don't know what it really is. Now newest skin "blighted" that is coming soon but is already present in shop just uncovered at least half of mystery?

Ok but at least let's interpret what it is. Right now for me it looks like a tentacle monster with parts from people like skull and skin and it has pink/red color.

A bit disappointed and now when I understand it better it's coming for me. BUT HEY! You are also reading this so it is coming for you too! Enjoy what's left😜

    I havent seen it yet, but I assumed he was like a creature with tendrils that wears people's skin?

    To me it kinda looked like a swarm of big worms like those graboids in tremors, only they burry into a body and somehow copy voices. But that wouldnt explain the mouth on the back with teeth either so its definitely not just worms lol

    Also possible! It was the mori that gave me my impression, as there's like a big cut in the body 'suit' that the tendrils come out of. Almost like a zipper lol

    They haven't revealed anything more than what we know already via the mori. Non issue, next.

    Edit: Am I seriously the only one who inferred that the unknown is an amorphous tentacle monster piloting a corpse? What else exactly does the blighted skin reveal other than the tentacles we see in the mori bulging out in places?

    From the design, it looks like a human who was brutally killed; so much so that their body was completely broken, either by another person or by some unknown entity. Their back looks like a void that consumes people in order to become one.
    If it has lore, I'd speculate that maybe this person was cursed, or is some kind of manifestation meant to take people away. The question is who created this monster in the first place.

    To me, the Unknown seems to be a cross between the Rachni Queen(or just the Rachni) from Mass Effect and the monster from the game Carrion. It is like the Rachni Queen in terms of possessing or taking the form of a host and using their voice, but it has the same amorphous, tentacled body as the monster in Carrion. I believe the teeth on the back is from how the Unknown enters the body based on its own form, not the form of its victim. Eyes in the front, teeth in the back, and then filling and contorting the rest of the body with its sinewy tendrils. Even though it is unknown(HA), I believe this is the first alien/insect like creature in DBD…aside from the literal alien xenomorph.

    I'm a bit disappointed by this skin. I feel it reveals too much of what the unknown is. Instead of having gaping holes where its poking out, we could've easily had smaller holes with things poking out. Think an eyeball, a finger, a bone, a tentacle tip, etc., poking out of varying holes in his skin. Maybe he could have the impression of strange anatomy pushing up from under his skin. Just coming out and saying "Yeah, he's tentacles" is kinda lame imo.
