do you think winning is more difficult as a killer or a survivor

Your objective as a survivor is to complete 5 generators, your only defense really is a flashlight, and pallets around the map. Killers have to hit you up to twice each down and hang you 3 times right.

killers can bring in perks that make most survivability perk sets pointless, they make flashlights, flashbangs, and blast mines pointless. they walk sometimes 1.5x to 2x faster than you briefly, they can bring in perks to make generator regression happen instantly at up to 250% speeds, they have added ons and offerings that allow for 1 hit downs, and some killers just make pallets a waste of time. Killers like the knight or the hag can just throw a goon or multiple traps on a hung survivor and just target one of them until they are out of the game.

they have perks to show your aura anytime you work on a generator, anytime you heal, if your injured, anytime if you're in the basement, if you scare a crow, anytime you escape a chase, etc. basically anytime you play the game killer perks show your aura. The meta perk stacks are almost unbeatable without comms to your other teammates and if you're going in with 4 survivor perks that work cohesively with each other. and new survivor perks are basically useless perks that survivors A.) already have or B.) are just flashy almost role play like perks

on the other hand, being a killer, if you haven't spent any money on this game at all, would be extremely difficult. especially survivors that go in as a 4 stack. But for those that don't the matchmaking is kind of brutal on what you're going to get I'd say less than 30% of matches you're going in with other survivors equal in skill level to the killers.

so, my question is do you think winning as a killer is more difficult than escaping as a survivor.

Why does your post lump SWF's and SoloQ together? Surv is split into two categories, SWF's and SoloQ. Both play vastly different and adhere to different mechanics.

    even with swfs.

it doesnt even reach the 50% survival rate threeshold.

behavior wants killer to kill at 60%.

so there is a 20% gap.

if we ignore the stats, playing killer is much easier than to play on soloq, even on high mmr against swfs.

you got no control over so many things as soloq, even with 5k hours and you loop for 15mins,
if the three teammates dont do gens, you wont win.
and if they get chased but die every 10 secounds, the best genrush-loadout wont save you from that.

meanwhile as killers, you either get forced into no control or simply dont have the perks or experince to win.

There is a reason killer has 60% kill rate and why most low MMR matches are utter stomps by the killer.

Right now, in the current chapter? If you dont play S/A tier killers, you automatically lose at the top bracket.

You should go check the Stats on Nightlight. While it doesn't always have a big pool of stats to pull from… you can obviously see a trend. Only the best killer has just about 60% KR… everyone else is below that, and a big chunk of the killer roster is even below 50%. Killer is in a rly bad place right now.

Killer have responsibility on his mistakes only.

Survivors shares it. They share everything.

And because this game doesn’t teach coordination and not really providing tools for it, no wonder why survivors can’t win more until utterly broken concepts will be in their hands

With bad matchmaking definitely killer is easier. Even with good matchmaking because of the reasons above. Unless the survivor is against like a bad tier killer.

My experience after pallet density update.

    Low MMR - Killer wins
    High MMR - Survivors wins

either way solo Q or swf its easier for killer as a killer main myself I play survivor and do survive games but usually someone dies with me doing my best to help the team even without friends to play with

but then again I haven't played for months

What is winning for each side?

How many kills does a killer need to be considered the winner?

Do you need to escape to win as a survivor? Does it matter if none of your team escapes? Does it matter if you die if the rest of your team escape?

Like it is not that difficult to play for hatches by not interacting with the rest of the game as a survivor. It is also not that difficult to get a single kill as a killer.

Killer's overall easier but has more stress vectors, even starting with the killer you decide to play (new Myers is incredibly chill).

Survivor's harder in a statistical sense but it's pretty chill if you go in with the right mindset. The hard part is finding friends with the same mindset or minding your solo queue tolerance.

Omg the pallet density changes are terrible. I chased a Leon last night an it was on the Erie of Crow's map and he must have dropped 20 pallets.

    great question

i think its 3 k for killer and escape at all as a surv which makes 2 winners possible per game
