i have never said VC is never toxic, i have said if it bothers people they can press mute. obviously VC would be used negatively as well as positively thats what the mute button is for.
regarding tbagging….i play in a way that means it happens far less because i win but it really doesnt effect me to the point that i think survivors shouldnt be allowed to crouch like the view you have about VC.
regarding end game chat…i played on xbox first and it got boring because it felt like i was playing with bots. no text or comms, just felt like random bots every match. i then started playing on PC and found the amount of people that spout abuse in chat is crazy but its still a lot better than playing on the xbox. i will never go back to having no chat on xbox after playing with chat on PC. people will spout abuse no matter what happens but i find it mildly entertaining when they give abuse after i just won.
my choice is play dbd on xbox or pc…i play with controller on both so thats not a factor. my choice is pc every time regardless of the amount of toxic comments i get post match

Its something to consider. Think about it. DBD would be a game you could socialize on. Good survivors could tell new survivors to do gens, killers slugging, killers camping and even give advice on the game. Yes it would help survivors but then there would be no excuse or complaints in buffing non s tier killers. Make them easier to use and have better powers. It would bring a bigger amount of people and help killers and survivors. There are so many more positives than negatives here. If they buffed killers now in the games present state it would make things extremely miserable.

Oh boy here we go again~
Voice Chat works for SWF because they know each other…
Not a single one of you can convince me that you would take little Timmy in your "Pro" Group who is constantly screeching or cursing you for not healing him vs Legion…
A Chat Wheel sounds like a good Idea in the first moment but I give the example of the "Enemy is missing" ping in League of Legends which is abused to ping for every mistake someone does.
Our Chat Wheel is Pointing and Waving and I bet that 90% of players don´t point at something they want to show you~

If those Japanese stats proved anything it's that soloQ isn't bad on it's own, they do generally quite well over there because your average survivor in Japan seems to be more confident in their role and what's expected of them and their teammates. SoloQ's problem has been and will always be that most players are just kinda bad? And I don't mean that in a derogatory way, it's just this game does a very poor attempt at teaching survivors good fundamentals like being aware of your situation, knowing when to do what, etc. If there are two things I'd advocate for it's a better tutorial and having the hook meter show up on the HUD. We don't need kindred basekit.

People don't know each other in COD games yet it helps teams a lot. Why shouldn't everyone have voice communication facing the power threat? (killer) There is zero reason this shouldn't exist. Dead by daylight developers should look at friday the 13th the game. It was a lot of fun socializing with people while facing jason.
