Map weighting
On the recent stream, they announced the 5 popular maps and a continuation of weighting maps; and although I dont think a rotating selection of maps being weighted wouldnt be a bad idea, I think just weighting the top 5, 2 of which being variations of the same map, is a poor idea. Please consider not going through with this change, as, as was revealed on the stream, the data pushing for change is a small portion of the playerbase (iirc, >10k players did the survey) and weight maps that can be frustrating to play on (indoor maps) that work against, or feel awful to play on with a decent amount of killer powers.
If the weighting system has to continue, I beg the designers to reconsider their approach and offer a variety of weighted maps, or, more preferably, a weekly/biweekly/monthly rotation of maps that are weighted a bit more heavily rather than some maps a smaller portion of the community chose.
I do like RPD, I do like Dead dawg, I like Ormond, but having these maps being weighted to make up many more matches would remove the enjoyment of variety for me, alongside feeling poor on multiple killers I enjoy. The current map weighting, I believe, reflects this; as many online have voiced their displeasure with the amount of indoor/unfun maps in the rotation.
I hope the team will reconsider this, and I'd like to see if I am alone in feeling this way
