Why are there so many spots for Freddy to place Dream Pallets on the map now!?
Right now, there are just too many locations where Freddy can place his Dream Pallets. Every few seconds of running, there’s another spot available for him to set one up. I even got hit by a Dream Pallet explosion and then immediately got hit by another one right after—why is that happening!?
The entire map feels like a dangerous minefield with no safe areas at all, because Freddy can place his Dream Pallets literally anywhere.
Please explain why there are so many possible locations for his Dream Pallets!

You can avoid the explosions pretty easily. They're very clearly telegraphed.

Because there's more pallet/filler spawn locations on every map pretty much. That shouldn't matter though, Freddy is still a pretty weak killer

Tbh i see just few on like farm maps and some maps just few fillers at corners that are wothless for dream pallet, best map is rpd the version that is more balanced not the survivor sided where on strong loops these dream pallets can be spawned more reliably and these loops are the ones where survivor must run through the place where dream pallets spawns so its more impactfull against sleeping survivors than dream pallets on any other map. His hindering snares and teleport are the key powers dream pallets are just fancy thing that doesnt work (just little more reliable than survviors using springtraps doors).

I felt like Matthew's message was saying, "If you really wanted to, you could put 100 pallets on the map, you know?"
Nowadays, even maps like Red Forest that were originally spacious and had lots of chase positions generate over 20 pallets.

Two pallets are allowed to be placed that close to each other? Who thought that was reasonable? That’s absolutely insane!

But the whole map feels like a minefield — no matter where I go, there’s always one of his Dream Pallets waiting for me. It’s almost impossible to avoid them completely.
