Raw mode
Just a quick poll what would you think about a raw mode where there were no perks, add ons or offerings. Just skill on skill?

I've wanted this as at least an event for some time.

This is my dream!!!!! I advocate for it all the time. A bare bones mode would be amazing. I meant tbf I do this now though the other side just never seems to reciprocate though....

This sounds wonderful good idea!

No Pain Resonance, no Sprint Burst, no Conviction? 🤔
✨Exquisite✨
I'll play that all day.

This actually sounds fun.

Sounds good

If you talk about Skill… are all Killers allowed?
Remember the Skill gap between Trapper and Nurse.
Survivors would need some base game things or you have a full Slug Party for 4 Minutes or Camping on demand (if you remember the last Chaos Shuffle it was free tunneling cause no perks.)

So long as we aren't allowing the S-tiers in the mode, I'm in

This needs to be a mode that if it comes to the game should stay forever. No Lithe, No Pain Res, No Unbreakable, No DMS just straight hands being thrown

- For me, perks are a fundamental part of the game and its fun, and they actually make each game "different." Obviously, meta-perks dull the variety in the game, but that's another story. And that's why I love "Chaos Shuffle."

Nurse needs skill because you have to hit your blinks.
Trapper needs LACK of skill from survivors because you rely on them messing up.
Let the downvote commence.

Playing survivor with no perks, is like playing killer with no power. Challenging? Yes. Interesting? No.

As a limited time event, it'd be fine.
I would likely not play it, but that's because I like my builds.

Wasn't it what Lights out was about ?

+1 feel like perks are ruining the game and add ons! Great idea!

where there were no perks, add ons or offerings.
and items

Lights Out was like 5 m visibility.

I support this idea

You'd have a ridiculously long queue time as survivor. Killers rely on perks, survivors don't.

Raw mode and Chaos shuffle any day!

Lately I've been running no perk builds on killer and survivor and matches turn out just fine. I'm for it.

Nah, I wouldn't be keen on this as a mode. Killer would be OK, but perks are mandatory for my enjoyment of playing Survivor. They're the "power" that you bring into the trial and where most of the fun is (at least for me).
Besides, I'm not good enough at looping to really enjoy it. Might be fun to feel a little bit more jeopardy and fear, but that would get old quickly just like it did for Lights Out.

kkillers would lose at the top and win at the

It would probably go the same way original lights out mode did; nobody could lean on perks so most people hated it.

If that were the case then survivors would have longer queues in Chaos Shuffle. Because I'm sure I'm not the only one that seems to always get the most useless or contradictory killer perks in that mode, yet i still enjoy it and never saw many complaints about it.

Yeah, Chaos Shuffle gave a taste of what it would be like, but worse, since Killer Powers vs nothing doesn't sound too fun for Survivors. I imagine queue times for The Killer would reach 60-90 minutes. Chaos Shuffle would be better if The Killer were also shuffled, and no add-ons/items for anyone. That mode makes people bring their best killers with top add-ons! I want Lights Out to return.

Friendly reminder that basekit survivor slams basekit killer by such a hilarious margin unless it's Nurse, Blight or like a REALLY cracked out billy. I speak as someone who used to play perkless survivor for shits and giggles and found it very viable.

Killer would win 90% of the time because survivors would actually have to use their brain instead of just following the lights from windows of opportunity.

I'm already doing no perk november on my survivor and killer games. lol I like the idea though. No second chances. No cheap expose.

what's funny is I found Lights out really fun, until certain killers were played coz it just felt really one sided.
