If they remove any need to play killer, that would be the tipping point for me uninstalling the game.
I bought this game to play killer. I stay in this game to play killer. If I'm instead discouraged to play the game I invested money and time in because I can be replaced with a bot, DbD gets shelved for good in my steam library.-6 -
I'm sorry how does adding killer bots to the game take away any ability or discourage you to play killer?

Unexpected server downtime is also a possibility, so I don't think it's always intentional disconnections. Furthermore, if killers encounter hackers, killers have no legitimate way to leave the match. They should be able to leave without penalty, and bots should be introduced as an alternative.

Definitely should at least put killer bots in custom games.

Killer bots should be in matches for people who are just starting so they dont get matched against a p100 blight when they play survivor for the first time but after a certain level reached they should be put in regular lobbies.

Its discouraging because if they add in bots to fill servers for the killer side then it will show that the devs have zero sense for fixing the bugs that run rapidly in the game. It shows ur not really needed in the game and Killer bots might break the game if they where a thing.
Bots will roughly know where you are at all times and now Survivor bot mechanics will probably bleed to the Killer bots will be much worse with the built in walk hacks they will probably have.
Killer players help keep the games fresh and random as bots will only play similarly or even the exact same every game meaning it will grow stale over time. Meaning once Killers realize there no longer needed to keep servers up they will leave to play something else. Plus Survivors will probably just DC until they find a bot Killer anyways so why would we stay because there would be no point

They would not fill slots with killer bots. Just as they wont fill regular 1v4 games with bot survivors to make killer ques faster. The only point a killer would be a bot would be if they dc, or if the person is making a custom match to try out survivor perks etc.
Killer bots alredy exist in 2v8 but only when a killer player dcs so everyone isnt stuck playing against only 1 killer.

If the bot's performance is the issue, it can simply be fixed; this does not directly justify the argument that the bot should not be introduced.

Maybe if they put killer bots everywhere then there could be an abandon feature for killers. I think its something to consider.

Survivor bots have been in the game for like 2 years. I personally don’t think it’s right to offer this kind of resource to one group of players, and not the other.
