Just versed a p100 spirt, accused me of hacking, asked what she thought was hacking and she just going off like "you know what you are doing"

solo q teamamate asked as well what she thought looked like hacking and she just called her out as well and called us swf.

not everyone that beats you is hacking. not everyone is in a swf, some people are just chilling and playing a game.

just wanted to put a PSA out.

edit: the only logic I could think she thought was hacking was fixated, a well known sorta counter to spirt. but a p100 should know that.

First you didn´t know what the Spirit went through in earlier games and don´t know what she saw. (Thats the reason why a reply would be amazing btw)

I had some Killers called me cheater too. I remember one play over all. Running away from a Killer. Running into shack but have some distance. Stoped running and walked into the locker. Killer charges in. looks at the door if I am crouchinig there and dcs. Called me cheater because I just disappeared in his face.

Till this day i am proud of that play because this killer called my "good" play cheater.

You should really try to not take it with salt but with proud that you played well.

I just wish she explained what she thought was hacking rather then coming off so hard, I was trying to ask her why she thought that and she just kept going off, a random team mate also asked and got caught in crossfire. I do understand tho not every survivor lobby EGC may be as nice.

If it was just I was duking her during phase by walking i would of just explained about fixated.

    Thank you for comment

People in rage are as rational as a starved lion when you walk into the cave.

You won´t get an answer of an angry player.

It is hard I know but take it with pride that you played so well that someone thought you cheated. Say GG and move on.

    • Some players, never having played the other "side" of the game, have absolutely no idea about some mechanics/perks. I've seen many end-game chats with accusations of hacking by the killer/survivors, even accusations from very experienced players who (in theory) should know some game mechanics.

Typical sane killer. You run into them every now and again and their ego could fill an airport.

I had the misfortune of facing an actual cheater, who was playing Spirit (also a P100). No matter what you did to counterplay her phasing (she was using MDR, and couldn't see scratchmarks anyways), she would always land a guaranteed hit. She also did not use Stridor, or the Cherry Blossom add-on (in fact, she had 4 slowdowns). Fortunately, the report caused a ban in this case.
I have 1750 hours in the game, and I know how to counterplay Spirits, but this one was something else.

we all been there i think. ive played nurse a lot, and had a game against her recently in which i was like 'omg she is cheating!!1' because she was using more than just three blinks. it only occurred to me later in the match that it was because she was using jenner's. i was so embarrassed at myself 😅

  • I got called a hacker once just because I counterplayed Friends til the End with locker jumps as soon as I was aware of the perk (I had Quick & Quiet because of a certain build and I think my DS made me the obsession).

The reason why some people instantly assume cheats can vary. In many cases I just assume they do not know better, especially when I look at the profile and see like 800 hours or such.

In the end you yourself know best if you did and if you have to be afraid of consequences if they report you. If you do not use cheats, then nothing will happen and the best thing is to just go next and ignore them and their frustration. Especially when they do not answer questions.🤷‍♂️

I have got called a hacker because I followed scratchmarks to a locker the survivor was hiding in. Even watched the vod of the match from the survivor who I found in the locker friends viewpoint and the locker survivor claimed I was cheating because I found her in the locker (where her scratchmarks ended on). Her streamer friend was currently in the basement hook herself and took her friend on her claim.

Once you have played this game enough hours, it becomes obvious when someone is "subtle hacking". Probably in say 5-10% of my matches, i run into a survivor that moves JUST a LITTLE bit faster than i they should. Or Vaults just a LITTLE bit faster than normal. And when you go to look you see no perks in play for that kind of thing. So it just becomes super apparent sometimes.

Its possible the person mistaked you for someone else, you said it was solo queue, so whose to say someone else in the game wasn't cheating? Maybe that someone else was making it look like YOU were cheating (hackers can modify all kinds of stuff)

This happens far too much. I've been accused of cheating a few times, but it's usually when the killer is furious cause he's had a bad match and needs something else to blame. It's no skin off my nose. I know I'm not cheating, so I say ggs and move on.

Just got to ignore. You can write the most benign, inoffensive comment and you'll still get them.

Maybe now but if spirit finds you in nowhere without any info perk like aura read and just pops next you from her power especialy if this happens few times and your survivor isnt injured what will you think about that then, was it luck? or did the spirit had little higher end gaming chair? thats what nobody knows and cheats like these are super hidden and if you say its luck then its probably the same as when huntress throws hatchet into nowhere and hits someone multiple times without any aura read, it could happen but whar are the chances. In this particular case it was probably salt mixed with frustration he played well with the spirit (my most favorite killer to go against realy not), but another huge fact is that spirit is probably the most cheater friendly killer in the entire game, the cheater can run wallhacks and its super hard to near impossible to spot it on spirit (unless the spirit cheater is streamer or ttv that records it like one guy but i dont remember his name).

they called me out specifically (the character I was playing) but wouldn't say what she thought was hacking. my solo q teammate even tried to ask what the spirit thought was hacking and got accused of being in SWF with a hacker.

I honestly just think Spirit assumed fixated was hacking.
