What if DBD had a new item?

I recently had an idea for a item of a booby trap for dead by daylight. The idea is the item would be called a Tripod and the survivor can set them down around on the map, and whenever the killer walks past the front of it, the tripod would trigger working like a instant flashbang blinding the killer if they are facing it. I feel like it would be a very useful item, great for setups and other things. What do you guys think?
