About the serious ping problem,

Why can’t we choose the server region?

When we get sent to servers in other countries, it becomes impossible to play the game properly.

I’m sick of matches like Ping 150 killer vs Ping 100 survivors.

    This happens when Servers are full. You SHOULD be connected to a Server which is the closest to you (which can still result in a high Ping if you live far away from the available Servers). But sometimes it seems like there is no space anymore and then all 5 players end up at a different Server with all of them having high Ping.

    Partly it's distance from the servers, and partly it's matchmaking when there's not enough players around your MMR available. Not including VPN shenanigans.

    Theres scenarios where all 5 players have 180 ping though so its not an mmr issue, its an issue with dbd sending people where they do not belong.

    Yeah I'd love to be able to pick the server region, would be nice when I want to join other servers peak times etc.

    That said though, the netcode just doesn't handle lag very well compared to other games
