Ghostface should be a true stealth killer

I love Ghostface, but he honestly feels stuck between being a legit stealth killer and just a regular M1 with a camera. The whole idea behind him is supposed to be the tension of not knowing where he is, but right now his power falls apart the moment survivors start spinning their mouse around like a turbine.

If your entire power depends on survivors not looking at you for a brief second, that’s not really stealth anymore. Ghostface gets revealed through walls, from bizarre angles, and sometimes even by survivors who weren’t actually trying to reveal him. There’s nothing more deflating than lining up a perfect stalk only to get exposed by someone across the map who just happened to flick their screen.

I’m not asking for him to become busted. I just want him to feel like what he’s advertised as: a killer who stalks and sneaks, not one who loses his whole power because someone casually glanced in his direction. Reveal ranges should be consistent, crouching should reduce how easy it is to spot him, and leaning shouldn’t result in him getting exposed instantly from impossible sightlines.

People keep saying that making him harder to reveal would make him overpowered, but honestly, have you seen how fast gens go? He still has to stalk, mark, chase, and then win that chase. Other killers get way more value for way less effort and with far less counterplay.

Ghostface could actually be terrifying if his stealth functioned the way it’s supposed to. Right now it feels like he’s pretending to be a stealth killer instead of actually being one.
