Would it be such a terrible idea to give dead survivors something to do?
I mean tunneling would be much less frustrating (specially in a friend group) if you didn't just sit in the vc spectating ur team while the match drags on.
Mechanic (probably a perk) aimed at giving dead survivors a side objective to help their team, (obviously not generators, healing other survivors or unhooking, since that would allow for essentially no reason for the killer to kill people, which well, would be a problem)
My ideas would be:
1. Zombie like state in which you die if you are hit, carrying a flashlight, flashbang, barely any noise. (Would allow for a less risky way of learning flashlight saving without throwing the game if you fail, could be used as a 1 time bodyblock help otherwise)
2. Ghost like state in which you move faster (like wraith) but have no body, essentially giving survivors small bonuses and a lot of information (for newer players that get tunneled out).
I would love to hear your ideas!

um, just go to the next match?

Other Assym did that and it was a nice mechanic. Maybe they could add a ghost mode basekit (no need of perks) where a survivor can show the aura of generators, chests and other survivor items to the whole party (totems are killer belongs, do they shouldn't see it as ghosts. )
If someone from your team escapes you get extra % BP, to incentivize people playing as ghost.

let dead survivors take control of a crow and fly around the map.

I honestly love this idea, does not effect gameplay for ones left and its also cute af.

Lets give SWFs a massive buff that does nothing useful for solos.

You could easily add a condition of solo q only or "you can access once everyone in your lobby has been sacrificed in the trail"
This game needs new fun features.2 -
Would easily break the game, I'm not gonna lie - I would not trust Behavior with their spaghetti code to implement something so interactive like flying a crow around the map, lol.

True. It is a shame that progress is often held back by coding issues.

Yeah, usually (if I'm playing SWF) - I typically just spectate like I'm watching a game of DBD.
I can understand a more casual player who simply just wants to mess around flying a crow or whatever it is that could be implemented. Obviously some people, especially in a SWF just play in a very goofy way and don't take the game seriously, I think it would be a fun aspect for people to drink with their friends and flying around each other at a certain part of the map. It's a good idea, definitely would be janky if Behavior tried to do it, haha.

Can't SWFs already just screen watch each other and convey information much more effectively? They can even compensate for the perspective of any randos who aren't in a call with them. For solo, just queue up for the next one, but I was expecting something like having dead survivors sit in a "waiting lobby" rift pocket or something where they can play a minigame if you wanted to address something like that. Otherwise you can basically be a quantum leaping UAV as it is, so not really any need to introduce something that can impact the match itself.
