maps are pointless
I dont see the reason why maps were completely destroyed . as someone who enjoyed doing scratch mirror myers .. the map changes are disastrous. if your not gonna give maps a point why do they exist . either revert the changes or remove maps entirely .

At face value, the map changes was made to address survivor squads sending killers to very unfavorable maps. But the map offering changes could have been done differently.
Like compacting the map offerings into two offerings, where one had a 50% chance to send you to an outdoor map, and the other had a 50% chance to send you to an indoor map.0 -
there is a HUGE problem with your idea… it makes sense .. so obviously the devs wont even consider it

I do not like the fact that one side can fundamentally change the game by bringing map offerings.
The best thing Behavior could have done was to make the map offerings an inverse. If a killer burns a map offering to prevent Badham or Garden of Joy, cool. If a survivor burns a map offering to prevent Haddonfield or Midwich, cool. They instead did the lowest possible demand, making it a fixed 20% chance to get a map offering.
It's another case of Behavior not listening to the community time and time again. You as a killer or survivor should not fundamentally override RNG to choose which map you want to play on and have an inherent advantage, in my personal opinion.

Map offerings where handled weirdly.
There were many ways to change them.
- Using them to ban a map
- Creating two kinds of each map one Survivor favored and one Killer favored (Eyrie and Sand map)
- Increasing the chance for indoor or outdoor maps.
- Combine some maps like use this offering to get on one of following maps X.Y.or Z.
But we got this change to stop abusing map offerings.
Which btw didn´t do much against its abuse by SwF because they are still able to throw 4 times the same map and got an 80% chance to get the desired map.
And to be fair the system was rigged from the start because it was possible that 4 Survivors use a strong survivor map against 1 Killer which used a strong killer map. So the odds were 4to1.

I would not revert them since they were very abusable, but would like them to be refundable.
If they do not bring you to the map, they are returned to you, with Sacrificial Ward negating this and consuming them anyway.

Maps does not stack anymore, so SWF cannot abuse them.
However, you can still pick 4 different offerings to boost your chances closer to a 1/4 chance of getting to a desired realm.0 -

Nerfing them was the right call. It's just that they went too far with the nerfs which is all you can expect from them at this point.
