In celebration of Vecna from Stranger Things coming to Dead By Daylight, I have created this (inspired) concept for Vecna. This is NOT what I expect him to be like at all and is just a fun concept.

Power Description

Empowered by the Upside Down, The 001 uses his psychic powers to stalk, torture and kill his prey.

Vine snares

Holding the Active Ability Button for three seconds while looking at the ground or next to a wall will create a Vine snare.

When a survivor walks into or past a Vine snare, they will become ensnared and incapable of moving. That survivor will have a timer until they become freed, which can be sped up by performing skill checks, much like generators. 

When a survivor escapes, they become Cursed.

All Vine snares are highlighted in red to the killer and turn yellow when a survivor is ensnared in it.

At max, only four can be out at any one time and they disappear after the survivor escapes.

A survivor immediately escapes a Vine snare if they are damaged.

Other survivors may help, which will moderately speed up the countdown.

Cursed survivors

Any number of survivors can become Cursed.

The effect disappears after 60 seconds of inactivity from the killer.

Physic attuning

After a survivor becomes Cursed, The 001 unlocks the Attune ability.

After holding the Active Ability Button for five seconds, the killer becomes Attuned to any Cursed survivors.

While Attuned for the first 30 seconds, the killer enters a lucid trance and creates a clone of himself that only Cursed survivors can see and interact with.

After 30 seconds have passed, both the killer and any Cursed survivors will cease all movement and be mentally transported to the Upside Down, where they will have to survive for a minimum of a minute. The time spent inside the Upside Down increases by 20% per Cursed survivor.

Upside Down

Inside the Upside Down, The 001 gains the Undetectable status effect, two additional Vine snares and the ability to summon them at a range by simply looking at where they wish to place them.

Pallets in the Upside Down break immediately after being thrown, regardless of stunning the killer or not.

Survivors trapped in the Upside Down may escape by waiting out the timer, interacting with the four Grandfather clocks that spawn around the map (this will reduce the timer by 10 seconds), or having a non-cursed survivor give them a Walkman, which will spawn in the normal map.

Escaping the Upside Down removes the Cursed effect from a survivor.

Whenever a survivor is downed in the Upside Down they are returned to their original location in the dying state and have their hook stage increased to three. The 001 also unlocks the Mori option against that survivor.

The killer can only Mori a survivor that has been downed in the Upside Down.

Survivors cannot leave through exit gates if they are in the Upside Down.

Whenever the killer Moris a survivor, a Gate is opened in that location.

Gates

Gates are special as they grant special buffs for each Gate open. 1 - The 001 gains a 5% Haste effect. 2 - All survivors become Exposed. 3 - The aura of the remaining survivors is shown and everyone is transported to the Upside Down, where they will remain for the rest of the trial.

The killer may use the Gates to move across the map, like The Demogorgon.

Perks

No one understands torture like The 001, the perks Hex: Evil’s Domain, No More Help, and Marked Generator: Bleak Outcome keeps your prey in constant suffering.

Hex: Evil’s Domain

In your domain, evil doesn’t just exist, it thrives.

At the start of the trial, a random hex totem will appear on the map with a radius of 20m. This totem can apply one of two effects: Survivor - 6/7/8% Hindered. Killer - 6/7/8% Haste. Only one of these effects can be active at a time and which effect activates is based on who enters the radius first.

“It’s time… for your suffering to end.”

No More Help

No amount of help will protect them.

Whenever a survivor gains a new effect, the become Oblivious for 10/15/20 seconds. Then this perk goes on a 25 second cooldown.

“And just like him, you will break.”

Marked Generator: Bleak Outcome

Their main lifeline will become their undoing.

At the start of the trial, 4 generators will become Marked Generators and be highlighted in yellow. If a marked generator is completed it instead explodes, loses 25% progress and is blocked by the entity for 10/15/20 seconds.

“You and your friends believe you have won… don’t you?”

Lore

Henry Creel, a child with supernatural powers and a deep-rooted disgust in humanity. From a young age he had killed his entire family, bar his father; who had only survived because Henry lost consciousness from over exertion.

From then, he had been taken in by Dr. Brenner who ran a multitude of experiments on him and labelled Henry “001”.

As he grew older, his power was silenced and he was forced to look after other children like him. They were weak and frail, but there was one child - a girl - that reminded Henry much of himself. 011.

Henry silently guided 011, eliciting her help in removing his chains. Free, he went on to kill everyone in the laboratory until he was defeated by 011 and banished to the Upside Down.

Beaten but not killed, Henry Creel merged with the Upside Down hivemind, allowing him to reach his full potential, becoming the all-feared “Vecna”.

Mori

The 001 uses his telekinesis to lift the survivor into the air, then snap all of their bones and burst their eyes.
