Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Console Aim Assist Toggle

This is a must needed quality of life change. Killer on console is too vulnerable to the FOV tech because the aim assist will cut it short or lock onto a wall. Please give us an option to toggle it on or off.

I've had plenty of moments on console, usually when I'm turning quickly and turn a little too far, where as I turn into the swing, the aim dressing thinks I've hit, pulls my camera back towards the Survivor and actually stops my lunge prematurely, only to miss and hit air, letting the Survivor reach the pallet.

It really screws me up too cause the way it yanks my camera unexpectly from where I am controlling it to point and expect it to be, it completely disorientates me, even causing me to get double vision for a fraction of a second as my eyes try to follow the Survivor as they suddenly move in my FOV.

Needless to say, when you're already getting FOV teched constantly as a console killer and have to bait a spin out to get the hit... the rare occassions this happens are excruciatingly annoying 🥴

This nonsense happens on pc too. Sometimes the survivor will literally be in front of you and you will press m1 but the attack cuts short and you miss. It feels like being robbed.

I hate the aim assist. Truly. I want an option to turn off. This shouldv'e been an option years ago.
