New, Lower Bloodpoints Incentives
I saw this on Twitter last night and thought it was a joke but I logged in last night and it's real. Is this intentional?
It's unfortunate enough the incentives are usually on the wrong role at night and during bone chill but now it's a new minimum of 1.10 instead of 1.25?

Haven't the incentives scaled depending on how big the gap is between the queues this whole time?
I'd just assume this means the gap is lower at the moment, personally.

The incentives are automatic, so they can't be on "the wrong role" but the scaling might have always had this but maybe it hasn't been bad enough lately?

In my region, they are on Survivor all night with wait times up to 5 minutes. Killer queue is instant with no incentive. In bone chill, I've had up to 2x bp incentive with long queue times on Survivor and instant Killer queue with no incentive.

I feel like Behavior changed the queue to try to find matches on your MMR more recently and thats the reason why survivors might wait a little bit longer. Still wasn't this what people wanted. You can't have both fast queues and matching MMR one has to sometimes give when there is not enough players on same level than you.
Still with survivor queue it also depends on how many survivors is queuing in the same group. So lets say there is a lot of four man teams and three man teams but you don't have much solo or duos so it makes the incentive to be less but it can make you wait longer if you wait to get the right MMR level player and the right fit too.

BP incentives have been broken for at least a year now and I doubt they are ever going to be fixed

They just want people to get less bloodpoints. It's an intentional design choice as evidenced by how they nerfed the drop rate of cakes during the anniversary.

who tf downvoted you for speaking straight facts??🤣

this. from what i'm witnessing, the goal seems to be increasing in-game time to give you more exposure to micro-transactions, thus increasing the likelihood that you will buy something. this same type of tactic is deployed in a lot of modern games.
it's very similar to how big-name grocery stores have end caps at cash registers and self-checkouts. they want you to spend a dollar or two more before you leave.

"Pffft, as if. Ill never fall victim to such greedy sale tactics"
"Oooo, Snickers 😋"

This wouldn't surprise me but one has to wonder when enough is enough. I remember when the bonus used to be 100% consistently for me when one side needed players. Then it switched to usually being at 25-50%. Now we're down to 10%. It doesn't even stop at 1v4. We got less bloodpoints for the last 2v8 as well.

Mark my words. This is going to heavily contribute to an extremely disproportional amount of players playing each role and queues are going to become even worse than they currently are here in a couple months. I never thought I'd say it ever since we got the old emblem matchmaking system back in the day but we may genuinely see a return to 10-15 minute queue times.

Kinda pathetic that right after showing the heavily reduced login rewards for this event they also lower the 1.25x bloodpoint incentive minimum to 1.1x. Bloodpoints aren’t even a currency you can buy anyway, why are we being so stingy with them?

It's real

I don't understand nerfing the bloodpoint gains everywhere when we have 49 surviviors and 41 killers.

they can't be on "the wrong role"
Well, they can be, when system is not working properly for over a year…
At least on EU, bonuses don't reflect queue times.
