just need to google it and you will find 16 year olds can have intercourse with anyone over the age of 16 in uk….the only exception being if there is someone is a position of power such as a teacher. Then it can be considered taking advantage of them.

The idea that legality = Morality is both extremely incorrect and in relation to laws depicting the handling of children in media, is completely dependent on where you live.
When it comes to DBD, we already have a few aged up 16 year olds. Even a character depicted as a kid in his source movie was eligible in an aged up Yoichi.
When it comes to child murderers, we have both Afton and Kruger, with Kruger having done worse in the remake. DBD itself isn't depicting the crime, so both aged up children and child killers are eligible to be included.
While it is odd to get the younger members of the ST cast after a seeming line was drawn with them originally, time passing appears to have changed things. I think Hopper and Robin would've been slam dunk inclusions, but we get what we get.

The Age of majority in the UK is 18. A 16 year old is still a minor, this is in compliance with the opinion of the UN. Hell, the 17 year old who works with me can't ring up Christmas crackers because of the explosives age restriction.
Also the age of maturity is 21, this is a biological fact, meaning that 16 year old has 5 full years before they reach full mental capacity. A 30 year old is nearly a full decade past that point. As the comment above me states, legality does not equal morality. And legally even, it's still a child and a minor.
As for that law, it's wrong, and gives protection to creeps like your friend. Defending him makes you just as bad.

- it shows your intolerance by saying hes a creep when you know nothing about him or his relationship, hes a law abiding citizen and there is no domestic abuse like some couples with 0 age gap have.

Just to note that the actors are both full age and if there is any problems with their characters age that they portrait in the show they can just make the entity take them few years later in the lore. So in short this conversation is odd as there has been few cases already in earlier DLC's where the survivors and killers are not taken from the same time. Good example is Yui and Oni and Yoichi and Onryo.
I would bet that they will address it with the lore stating when they were taken by the entity. Simple and easy.

It's just characters in a game. Killing adults is very wrong in real life also and yet it happens in this game have you seen moris? Are you not upset it's murder? No real children will be harmed here don't worry!

What point? People arguing what a law is in different countries as that is what majority of this thread is. That you would prefer others characters and some reason can't see them as anything else than kids. For me that is just weird. So no I did not miss any point.
