Add an option to play only with pc players
I'm as an epic games player forced to play as a solo with them since off cross there are not enough epic games users, they are so bad that matches end at 4-5 matches even against mediocre killerss

The problem is Epic players have a bad rep due to Epic being commonly used by cheaters. Many people on steam will lobby dodge epic players for this reason.
i first started on console, then played on pc gamepass but a lot of steam players say i had a globe and could type in chat so assumed i was Epic player and dodged. now i play on steam. people still lobby dodge but not as much because they can now see im on steam and can see my profile.
I wish i could say these views of Epic players have no basis but unfortunately, i have also noticed the majority of Epic players are cheaters or griefers. last night, my first match of the year, 2 Epic players griefing, body blocking to trap the team next to a gen. not long before that, Epic player was cheating using hacks. they get banned and just make a new account on Epic.
My advice, move away from Epic and get the game on steam…its far better, less people dodge and you can see peoples profile and interact more with the community.

Nobody dodges me, I use anonymous mode and only post after the match. The problem is, I only want to play with PC users not braindead console players who apparently drunk😂, meaning only Steam/Epic and Microsoft Store users, but the game only lets me play with players from my platform when I enable crossplay off.
You're wrong about cheaters in Epic Games, I've seen it a lot (they don't have a globe icon) of them and they didn't cheat at all, and they played even good! Cheaters now mostly use pc gamepass (as u mentioned) share on the msstore because accounts there are super cheap (penny), because they say Epic Games accounts aren't that cheap anymore. I admit, I started playing DBD myself when I got it for free on Epic Games, so it was also useful for attracting legit players like me.-6 -
im not saying all Epic players are cheaters and griefers, but in my experience a huge amount i come across often are. Especially if they are standard skin dwights or have something like tiktok in the name. i never played on Epic but going from pc gamepass to steam was game changing for me. console was just awful, will never go back to that lol. The problem with turning cross play off is that not only do you only get matched with people on your current platform but it only matches you with people on your platform that also have crossplay turned off. if others have it on you wont be matched with them even if they are on your platform. q times on steam are really bad with crossplay off because no one plays with it off

I see, thanks for the answer. I hope the deves will add the ability to choose platforms for no cross feature. Even if I have to wait 10 minutes, I'll wait, but at least there won't be those noob console players🤡

Assuming that console players are all bad and that your matches will be improved by only playing with Epic or PC players is not remotely realistic. Most Killers don't revolve around pinpoint accuracy so it's not like that role is meaningfully any harder outside of Huntress and Slinger, and Survivor on M+K has zero mechanical advantages over Survivor on controller. The only real difference is that PC players can use reshaders and other 3rd party software, and those don't make a massive difference for most people.

i thought you can turn off crossplay in the settings

You can, but with it off you then can only me matched with others on your particular platform who also have it set to off.
For instance, say your playing on a PS4 and turn off CrossPlay. So now you are isolated from all players on PS5, Epic, Steam, Xbox, Windows, and Switch completely, as well as those on PS4 who still have CrossPlay turned on. Imagine how small that pool would be.
