Do you know under which conditions the unhook option is available?
Our entire team was taken down within about a minute by Mike Myers, and the game didn’t even give me the option to try to unhook myself. I still ended up losing points because it was apparently considered “dying on purpose. This pisses me off. This game even gives me a penalty when the game disconnects due to a crash, which is not by my choice. There have been some stupid changes since I joined this game (5-6 years ago), and it sucks.

Currently, you can only unhook yourself naturally without perks or offerings - when 2 survivors are left. When theres just you and 1 other survivor, you can try to unhook yourself 3 times and missing 2 skillchecks in 2nd hook state will kill you faster for the other person to have a chance to find the hatch. Otherwise if 3 or more survivors are alive, perks and offerings are required to unhook yourself, and missing skill checks in 2nd phase takes much longer to kill you.

I think now only two must be alive so you can unhook yourself unless you have luck offering or you have perks like slipery meat or deliverence (charged one meaning you unhooked someone), maybe aces luck perk can make you unhook your self Idk ybout that and if killer is near you you build anticapm meter which when fills up you can rescue yourself even when you are in second stage but that is only possible if killer is near the hook and that bar fills up.
How the hell the whole team went down against mikey I would understand p100 billy main with x thousand of hours but mikey with no mibility Idk happens i guess.

lol its ashamed that i cant directly make comment to the comment. Yeah it's bit embarassing, we literally all gathered up and just about to do engine, not knowing that Mike was spying on us right next to us. Then we all got caught haha it was funny though. Thanks guys for answering my question!

Can happen but there is global sound cue when he reaches 50% of his stalk meter so if you hear it just look around and mostly if he is staring on you, you will notice it (he has 32 meters range for stalking basekit and cant hide himself like ghostface but than its way stronger in chase). Just tip because if he is standing in place he can have his evil within mode ready in 5 seconds I believe.

Not exactly.
The 50% stalk sound only plays for the ones who are getting stalked. The global sound cue plays when he's fully stalked.2 -
Its still enough warning for people to get aware that he is near and if its like you say than its just pretty clear info like slingers sound cue when he is aiming at you directly or huntress one when she winds up.

How the hell the whole team went down against mikey I would understand p100 billy main with x thousand of hours but mikey with no mibility Idk happens i guess.Not everyone is like you regarding the game, knowledge, execution, hours, favorite food, color, cartoon, etc. People are different.Look you dont need to tell me I can imagine how it went and that they were in one place and let him snowball but in reality his snowball is way worse than bubba with iri flesh (+ beast marks for more distance but still bubba with iri flesh can down more people in shorter time than mayers can in tier 3).
How do deal with him, I explained that when he is stalking you you will get notified and that he cant be super far like before and now he is closer and for not going down as team best is probably to split because compare to oni or billy he has no mobility so even if he downs someone he will get pinished minimaly same as survviors because he than must go his way through map or even across it with m1 killers speed so he will be slow and if survviors will be falling like flyes and it will be just unhooking simulator than well there isnt much you can do except like last long in chase so others can reset but at this point if they are getting downed super fast its pretty gg mostly because at this point all can help you is long chase while others reset but the cause of this (survviors droping like flyes) is mostly some skill gab like not being used to go against this killer or the killer having way more experience (there is big difference when guy who has 6k hours plays nurse like few times per year and guy who has 2k hours and just 1k hours on nurse alone as his main so it can happen that someone with less hours can be super hard to deal with) or you get caught offguard but the other survivors too thats just strange luck (I would say less than hitting orbitals in chance).
I have had like 20+ games where p100 billy sluged whole team under 1-2 minutes but newer against mayers, I get he is harder to loop now especialy in tier 3 (evil incarnate mode) but he has 60 seconds basekit (I think it cant be made longer with addons now as it was before his rework only one iri makes it 40 seconds and just resets his tier 3 after getting hook) so if you are spead and prerun he will lost like half of his power mainimaly and even if he can get it in 10 seconds or 8 you will still buy lot of time for your team because he has lethality but no mobility and thats why he (even if he is easier and more better at getting his power) still doesnt beat oni who gets less powers and has to earn them but can just do more in that limited time or billy, mobility to catch up is one of strongest abilities killer can have in this game just look at wraith only reason why he doesnt compleatly suck as m1 is just the fact he has 150% speed when cloaked because his lunge was nerfed and without one addon if you ran and he uncloaks righ behind you he wont hit you because he will loose distance (wraith is generaly killer who needs to be played perfectly without good addons against survivors that arent new or clueless).
For more tips on how to go against mayers here some vid. i just dont want to write whole article that gets deleted by moderator and loose another 15 minutes of my time (I know most of it for his counterplay thats in this vid. but i don't claim to be best in executing them because i make mistakes too, I wasnt programed to not make them).

Just inspired from something like this and you will do fine, as all you will make mistakes but even the fact he probably isnt now in the game (he isnt obtainable now due to licence lost) he is still pretty popular so the more you face him the more you will learn to do good agaisnt him and counter him.
Personaly i think getting distance against him and looping him at strong loops, structures is more safer aproach how to beat him but soloq can be hard sometimes.
