2v8 Needs buffs
While it's great Nemesis got buffed finally he did need it even if it is just Zombie buffs
Can we give some love to Deathslinger? He's been needing buffs badly for a long time now in 2v8

Yeah slinger needs buffs because that reload speed isnt even his best i believe (its not his green/blue addon).
Pyramid head needs some range buffs or his iri addon for range because 1,5 longer range isnt that great and he didnt got anything usefull than small range and having longer trails on the ground (the killer instinct isnt bad but I dont consider it that great compare to other things like dounbe the duration of his power from 10 to 20 seconds i believe).
Nemesis still needs marvins i think but having 4 zombies is still good I only hope it wont split the game into two like twins changes do.

If you buff 2v8 killers even more, the queue will grow so long you will have to make an appointment to play killer in advance of 5 business days.

then what do you imply? making all 2v8 killers useless resulting in everyone playing survivor and no one playing killer?

What could they actually do to deathslinger to make him fun to play against and stronger? Because I feel like there isn't really much more they can do, he has nasty combos with other killers which is a huge plus from 1v4 and if you can aim he counters sprint burst.
I wonder if the new class changes might help him, I can't really say he is in an awful place, he just isn't effective solo and is better working with the other killer honestly.1 -
Killer queue is so long because too many players queues as killer and there are not enough survivors. If you make the killer stronger, even more people will queue as killer and less as survivor, thus extending the queue further.

Not all just some that need that buf so you can see them more and its not just all weskers and blights plus oni all the time.
Killers like pyramidhead,slinger and nemi (marvins boold) would need some love, only fool would buff all killers in general with global buff (its not needed).

I think Nemi still needs just a little bit more love but the extra zombies has been fun for me on both sides (I didn't play Nemi at all but a duo did), the extra info alone is a huge and I think undervalued part of the additional zombies. Marvin's blood or a slightly weakened version of it sounds good to me.
Slinger is a lot harder since he is already quite strong 1v1 and extremely oppressive 2v1 but something to assist mobility or a reduced terror radius could help.
I think additional range on PH would be fun but likely wouldn't make him much stronger. Part of the problem right now is that the attack travels from his sword along the attack path, shooting from further just gives the survivor more time to dodge. The iri that breaks pallets (without the additional cooldown) might be OK or the mangled/hemorrhaged addon. I do think part of PH's weakness is that he is just hard to hit with unless you practice a lot so some of his weakness is just people like me playing him poorly.
I don't think we will ever see a shorter queue time for killer in 2v8, maybe it could be reduced a bit but killer will always draw more people. Playing with a friend on a role you can't normally do so is just impossible to trump. I play a lot more killer in 2v8 than I do in 1v4, in large part because I can queue with a friend and play survivor while waiting, and would bet I am not the only one doing that. The fun of the mode on both sides needs to be prioritized above queue times.

Unless you buff killers across the board, the increase in killer players would be minimal.
Since killer players who want strong killers can pick any other available ones.
So I don't think the queue problem would change a lot with this.

They could possibly make Slinger 4.6 m/s to help him get around those gigantic maps a little better. But that's all he really needs since his 1V1 is already very strong. I'm a little worried Chucky will suffer from the same mobility problem when he's added to the mode as well.
But to be honest, for the most part I don't think many Killers need a buff in 2V8. In my experience, it's been the most balanced of all modes (with an almost exact 40/60 Escape / Kill rate).
That said, anything that might help improve variety would be a good thing because I'm tired of seeing either a Huntress or a Wesker in every other round.

we could start by removing play while you wait; get rid of the tourist killers so only the most desperate people will play killer. one 2v8 had killers down to 5 minutes...I'll never understand how we got there or how to get that back
I don't support this necessarily, but PWYW made queues worse

I think chucky will do better than pyramidhead because he breaks the pallets with scamper and on maps like larrys he will have solid mobility due to many windows.
Slinger should get iri coin and better (faster) reload speed because he is good in 1v1 but due to bigger maps his 1v1 isnt enough in 2v8.

Yeah Slinger being 4.6 would help him and Chucky will be okay he got his old scamper back and his Slice and dice received a lot of buffs he got a 50% slice and dice duration buff you can use that for mobility it's what I've been doing

Pyramidhead ranged attack is like a wave that travels from the sword to the end of the path.
PH has an addon that makes that Velocity much faster it should be added in 2v8 (PyramidHead punishment of the damned Velocity increased by 14%)

If you notice how they buff other killers in 2v8 giving extra dashes or more range on abilities they can give Slinger longer harpoon range a stronger chain durability to compensate the range buff and faster reel speed and Harpoon velocity.
Going for far long range snipes could be fun and rewarding in 2v8.

Deathslinger is probably the one killer that BHVR cannot afford to buff in 2v8 unless you want every single chase to end in five seconds to a two tap

Fair, this PTB would have been a great place to test smaller changes like this. At least we got a PTB for it for once.
