ANYONE ELSE BUY THE 10 YEAR EDITION GIFT SET?
I did, im actually excited about the statue and the book. I bought a few candles back when they were teamed up with wick and skull, amd im glad I did because the company doesn't exist anymore. Needless to say, ill never burn the candles. Lol

I got it too. I don't generally buy DBD merch, I think i just own a hoody and the youtooz figures, which isn't a lot for a game I've been playing for 5 years. I bought it for the flashlight though. I collect statues but this one is PVC, which i tend to avoid. So I'm a bit so-so on this one.

Why is pvc "bad"?

Didn't say bad, just that I avoid them. It's a type of plastic and very lightweight. I prefer to spend the bit extra on better quality for my collection.

Trapper and Dwight would have made the most sense to me, but Sable sells. That's the whole reason. The fact that it's plastic for that price is also a hard pass, even if my mains were the chosen ones.

The timing is just way too off.
They didnt announce it on anni (y'know, when it made sense to do so) and they dont even have the full set yet to show off.
This also comes at a time where the game barely got improved from the health operation.
So this for me felt like a cash-grab.

so its more brittle or lower quality then other materials?

Yes, that's how i consider it. I do have a couple of pvc statues that my dad gifted me, and don't get me wrong they look nice but you can feel the difference. For someone who doesn't collect statues though perhaps it won't bother them. But i have seen people say they feel the Huntress/Sable statue is why the set is so expensive and I would disagree on that.

that was my assumption aswel. as ive seen statues be quite… expensive to say the least
