Survivors get items but killers can't pick addons?

Items are like a killer powers. Addons are addons. Killers cant choose, survivors cant either…How is that not fair?

Killer power addons and survivor item addons are literally in no way the same and should not be treated the same. Item addons dont foribly change how you play, killer addons do, especially ones that are trash and even gimp you. Randomising killer addons as they are now is just a trash, poorly thought out idea without the ability to remove some from the pool yourself.

Half the addons a killer has in their inventory first of all are completely buns. You get to choose whatever item you want, the addons SHOULD randomize as well. They are completely random for killer too and usually in most cases to completely change their play style you need BOTH addons equipment to compliment that new playstyle usually sometimes even with certain perks.
So I disagree. Its fair for both sides.

Maybe you're just proving that survivor items are uninspired and could use more variety, different flashlight tiers etc dont change a playstyle either.
Chaos shuffle in general is an illy thought mess, getting blood rush on its own for example with no exhaustion, making it useless.1 -
For the second point - well, this is Chaos Shuffle. You might not get a synergy. You might even get Perks which do the complete opposite from each other. And I think this is fine.
For the first point - very, very valid. But instead of making Items more unique, I would be for removing a bunch of Items and only have one of each category. Would also help with the Bloodweb Clutter, if they would only have 1 Item of each and less Add Ons. Reducing the Items would already do a lot - instead of 5 Toolboxes, 4 Medkits, 3 Keys, 3 Flashlights, 3 Maps and 3 Fog Vials you would have one of each. Would already remove 15 Bloodweb-Items nobody would miss. Because there is indeed no need to have 3 Flashlights which are the same aside from charges. Or 4 Medkits which are all the same aside from a slight difference in altruistic healing speed.

Yeah for Chaos shuffle they could probably add some cases where you wont get blood rush unless you get an exhaustion perk etc. Like if you get an exhaustion perk then add a chance to add blood rush from the pool, so on.
Some consistency of any kind would be nice, synergy is one thing, a dead perk slot is another.0 -
