Has killer been frustrating for anyone else recently
honestly I’m just curious because my games have just been terrible recently

From my experience things seem to be about the same for my killer games.

survivors been way more chill for me. I've been chilling and vibing with 11.

My killer games have been fine. Couple of 4 outs but most of them have been enojyable.

Not frustrating in the sense I felt killer was weaker than it hsould, but just frustrated at how stale its been for the past few months and especially zero balance changes with the new chapter that I have no interest in buying basically meant I play survivor more or play something else. Outlast 2 was fun btw.

your not the only one who feels like this. I get upset and frustrated because of how annoying and toxic these survivors are. I just wish there was a way to prevent T-Bagging at the exit

Yeah survivor has been way better to play and more chill and ive mostly been playing that since the anti-killer update attempts.

Honestly, I agree. I found though that endgame builds fit my style of gameplay, so try experimenting in custom is my recommendation, then from there you'll find the killer that fits that playstyle best or feels comfortable to use, then profit :)

For me it might be something on the south america servers, but after 6pm or so the amount of people playing very competitively and putting some BM in the mix increases exponentially. Before that point things are very chill though.

I have been having a great time as killer. But I do generally play killers that are considered viable, like the First or Dracula.
I would play more survivor, since that can also be a lot of fun, but I dread the hard tunneling killers. I still can't believe nothing has been done about tunneling and camping.

I dont always go for the 4k or go on long winstreaks.
So i get better matches and not 2k hour looper survivors.

what happened to your Krause challenge.
ps I love when I face difficult situations as killer because it allows me to become a better killer and learn from trial and error and even if I'm running no perks like I most of the time do as springtrap it allows me to evolve and use his powers and other killers powers in new ways
for example I'm playing oni against a bunch of gen rushers and i'm losing challenge accepted and then somehow I turn the tide of the game by gen checking which is really effective.
what I'm trying to say is when matches are hard don't view it as I'm gonna lose instead view it as a challenge to become better as a killer and learn to clutch up. you can do it👍️

Not me because i rarely play weaker killers. On the killer side i think i have exclusively played vecna since he came out and he feels great. Even the matches where i underperform i feel like it is my skill issue.

I just give up and open the gates when the game is clearly hopeless, the only way I can continue playing killer and keeping my sanity.

I did not notice any changes. But to be fair, I also only play Killers I really enjoy nowadays. I dont care much about winning or losing. Obviously I play to win, but I dont get frustrated when I lose as Killer, since this was on me anyway and since I only play Killers I have fun with and feel comfortable with, I dont really have a bad experience.

i honestly don’t blame others if I lose because I just feel like that’s petty. If I lose that’s just my performance at the end the day.

I agree with that mindset. However some killers are genuinely incapable of beating a good team. Thats why i play mostly high tier killers that reward skill.

Exactly. Which is the reason I find Killer less stressful than Survivor.
If I play bad as Killer, I am the one who will have the consequences. If I play bad as Survivor, I might be the reason our team lost.
And since Killer is the Solo Role I am never at risk to lose games because of teammates.

I have mostly had positive killer games lately. Not much BM from the survivor side to speak of.
But then again, I haven't been playing much lately, due to hardware issues in my PC.2 -
I am right there with ya my friend.

I haven't had any issues, it's been the same as always. Were you the one forcing yourself to play Krasue recently? Maybe you're just not enjoying her?

Taking dbd will have you feeling that way ts get so boring and repetitive that’s why I just play low tier killers for fun

"Bing Bing Bing Bing Bing HOOORRRRRRRNNNNN" is like most games with a slow killer just cannot get a chance with killers like trapper or Ghostface anymore the game is just over before it began ):

When i load up killers nowadays i just end thinking, why do i even bother? My main Myers got character assassinated and i dont find him fun anymore, ghostface is stuck in D tier and the devs refuse to buff him, i dont enjoy playing blight or nurse so i've just fallen out of love playing killer. I tried playing other killers but its just more of the same. Half of the time i just DC as i just cant be bothered to deal with the pressure of the match anymore. I've even started running NOED more just so maybe i can get a kill at the end of a ten minute slog. I just wish i could find the passion i had for the role like i used to.

Glad it's not just me that's been put off Myers. I believe it was GeneralV who was telling me once how Freddy getting reworked put him off playing him, and I didn't understand at the time but I do now

Killer had been trash for years

i find myself playing survivor alot more and finding it more fun now that i have a group of friends to play with. Even if we lose at five gens i have a better time than playing killer. Two years ago and the roles would have been reversed, i dont know what changed.

I don't know, I come across the same cards in a loop (Saloon and RPD), there are SO MANY PALLETS sometimes the survivors unplug their brains and hold W + predrop it's incredibly annoying, especially since the stun-box of the pallets has been extended, which makes it complicated to win a trade and you get stun from so far away

You can just ignore them. If I get a toxic team then I don't bother chasing them out of the exit gate. I just wander round breaking downed pallets doors and spam my powers for extra bloodpoints. If they want to sit in the exit gate then just give me time to squeeze out a few more bp.
Sometimes they may come looking to hassle you and you can get a free kill off of it if you're lucky. Always satisfying. I also like running killers who can punish exit gate camping. Nothing more satisfying than catching someone out with deathslinger using the iridescent coin or a cheeky wesker dash and down. 🤣

Gen speed has been atrocious

I mean there are some bad killers that are kinda just neglected like Trapper, Ghostface, Sadako, Wraith, and Demogorgon (not counting skull merchant because she was eventually buffed but is still bad). But saying that the role itself is trash when we have killers like Kaneki, Nurse, Blight, Hillbilly, and now Vecna the sequel just doesn’t make sense to me.

The whole game has been awful for me lately. I'm losing the majority of my matches regardless of role.
5 -
I haven’t noticed too much different lately in terms of difficulty on the killer side. Maybe a few more subtle cheaters than in the past, but other than that, nothing significantly different.

I'm one of the weirdos who....tolerated old Myers. only because of how perfectly in character he was. I cannot stand to face this new Myers. I don't want to play him, and I don't want to see him.
I've seen more Myers than Henrys and it's bothering me rn.

I have noticd so many subtle cheaters these names that are so basic, they dont even bother changing them but its hard, impossible to deal with because I dont have recording studio at home like some streamer and without evidence you can do nothing against them they wont be banned.
here is exsample how it looks like.

It seems pretty tough unless i play someone like nemisis. Like it took me 3 rounds to start having a chance as pyramid head, but i got lucky the third time had some bullies that probly spent too much time trying to get ready for flashlight saves only for me to cage most of them lol. But with nemi its like im either hitting them easily and winning, or missing a lot and eventually winning. I guess it helps playing a killer you are comfortable logging in as, as apose to someone you feel like you need to be good at.
One thing i have noticed tho is since the free weekend if i played any killers i havent used in a while, id get brand new day 1 players like a dwight with 2 green perks or a feng with 3 green and a blue. And their friends would be protecting them and id kill everybody except for them and chase them around till they find the hatch pretending im missing. The one feng took so long to find hatch that she realised i wasnt actually trying and i carried her around to find it which even i almost couldnt lol. But yea lots of new players, the mmr is wonky, i have like 8 p100s and they are working on their first prestige ever lol how would that be fair

Depends. If I am playing against not so experienced team nothing really bad happens. Minor inconvenience here and there.
If the team is somewhat knowledgable, the last 2 years of Bhvr balancing around A+ tiers really pushes one's patience.

Yeah I realize subtle cheaters can just cheat by only cheating on gen speed and there's no way to know if they are cheating or not
2 -
A little bit. Yesterday went against a lot of genrushers. Today was too easy. I think it's about the same.
If i had to guess survivors are maybe compensating for how good vecna and his perks can be.0
