When will legion come back to 2v8 ?
This marks the second 2v8 with no legion, just wondering if there’s any concrete plans or ideas to bring him back yet?
Or maybe a time frame. I think they should return at some point this year, any longer than that is a bit crazy because we’re still only working with about a 1/3 of the roster at this point.

I find it annoying that he's seen as a problem when I destroy them no problem. people for some reason feel the need to give free hits and let them go on a stabbing frenzy.
meanwhile, the fundamentally broken character in 2v8, Oni, gets so many buffs to make him so easy to play when he should have gotten nothing and he'd still have been op on principle.

Oni has nothing untill he gets his power and even if he slugs 3 survivors with basekit untislug one or two will get up (depending on distance between downs).
Legion on the other hand isnt strong by himself but by being teammate with strong killer that can get hit easily like 2v8 blight,nurse,huntress,wraith,wesker he just buffs all these killers while slows survivors little with mending and massively with healing because they just cant stay all match injured like against legion in 1v4 you have other killer out there that can get hit super fast like blight,spirit and this makes legion so strong in 2v8 not to mention build in info with killer instinct that can be used when two killers play togeather and use coms the other killer cna have huge info from legions killer instainct plus legion just makes oni powered all the time because blood orbs are everywhere.

Wished they brought Legion back into 2v8 mode since healing feels out of control now with 3 survivors being allowed to heal the same target.

Hopefully never. 2v8 is far more enjoyable without them.

Never. Unless they want to give Legion a completely new Power for 2v8. Legion should have never been in 2v8 to begin with, the whole point of the Killer is that they can get a very easy first Hit but then have to play as a basically powerless M1-Killer. This just does not work if there is a second Killer running around.

was medic touched at all? in last 2v8s, 2 medics could just passively heal all 8 survivors. mending is super fast too so the whole "mending simulator" is just parroted talking points from 1v4 dislike of legion
if we can't have legion we need Ghoul to come asap.

a lot of killers just have little to no synergy. I love playing ghostface and getting m2 only killers. Slinger wanting to 1v2 makes him fundamentally useless, so all you can do with killer is just take 2 high mobility killers and play 2 games of 1v4.
I don't always want to be playing a mobility killer though. removing legion does have its uses though, like making casual killers just give up on killer and just play survivor, which is cool for us diehard players I guess.

- Legion and Plague are not suitable killers for 2v8. Let's not repeat the same things over and over again; we've already talked about this dozens of times. The problem isn't Legion, the problem is Legion + any other killer (except poor Billy because he's an instadown).

I'd like some more communication from the devs on Legion's future in 2V8 as well. Their absence basically killed any excitement or appeal of the mode for me last time around.
I feel like people who argued for their removal were either taking the mode way too seriously or just not really getting into the spirit of things. Even if you think they are "broken", there's no way the argument can be made that they're unique in that respect when there is plenty of equally broken nonsense still in 2V8. I thought that was kind of the point - that everybody gets an equal opportunity to play with their broken toys.
Legion being removed broke that implicit contract for me. Why should I subject myself to a triple dash Wesker when I don't have a Legion match to look forward to? I'll probably still play 2V8 a little bit, but I'm still sore about BHVR doing them dirty like that.

Nope, zero changes made to Medic for this version of 2v8. Honestly don't care for this version of 2v8.
Playing HellDivers 2 instead. BIG update there. 300K Hell Divers taking the fight to the clankers home world of CyberStan! WAY more fun imo.

Legion will probably be the last Killer added back to the game cause Devs stated they will have to Rework him to make his power more fun to go against.

I can tolerate the mode being survivor sided, since the queue has a lot of killers. but Legion kept me quiet because he was a great fit for team composition.
feels like people are happy for us to quit because we are just competition for the queues

probably a dumb comparison and one I may get some flack for.
But I think legion is ok in 2v8 because we already have ghostface and now 4 zombie nemi let me explain.
With ghosty you can mark half the team, effectively putting the survivors in a similar situation with the other killer and leads to easy downs. Plus ghosty has stealth and with chaos of 2v8 you get a lot of grabs/free hits.
And 4 zombie nemi slows down the game so much if no one is running torch bearer, additionally they provide crazy amounts of info on a similar degree to legion on comms. And now that there’s so many, nemi can murk his zombies way more often to tier up which is what was keeping him mid in other 2v8s; you lost the game by the time you got tier 3 and he’s was effectively nerfed by wesker.
On comms and depending on my randoms skill level I’ve been absolutely rolling with new nemi and ghosty, and the games haven’t been close. Unlike with legion where 1-3 good survivors who camp pallets can absolutely stone wall you and you’re left with no stealth or movement or anti-loop.
So I’d rather legion be in 2v8 than not at all because you already have crazy strong supp killer options. they could gut his kit, but legion should absolutely come back, because when more killers drop with crazy buffed up kits I’m sure we’ll find new combos to run that are more fun or stronger than legions + oni/any high mobility killer. Me personally Im waiting for Double vecna and houndmaster + wolf only drac.
