BHVRs ignorance towards Player toxicity and their behaviour the past year
Ive gotten multiple players in my games where theyve been toxic as hell, trolling and/or hacking and so far ive seen nothing from bhvr recently. Its been the case where ive seen players do stuff that would have gotten them banned a year ago and they keep becomming more and more brazen. I got games where ive been called slurs and gotten death threats by my own teammates and the people on the other side the same for no actual reason. And so far ive seen nothing happening from bhvr. These are just 2 screenshots i still have because of a recent PC reinstall but this pattern has been like this for about a year now. at least a year ago we got things done but these people never got banned and propably never will

That one of my main reason I would rather play dbd on consoles since don't had to see toxic game chat from toxic survivors players. Another reason why don't play this game anymore even if report them bhvr won't temporarily suspend their accounts anyway.

I have the same experience with submitting many reports for extremely vile things, death wishes, threats of harm, racial slurs, etc. Not a single report ever received a response. I can only conclude that BHVR doesn’t take this kind of stuff seriously and they won’t ban people for anything said in chat no matter how vile. If my conclusion is incorrect, it would be great if someone from BHVR could clarify 1) is post-game chat abuse bannable, and 2) if so, why are they not banning players for this kind of stuff?

Why would they change anything, if players still continue to purchase the new content with happily wide open mouths? Income and playercount are the only metrics they operate with, and those show everything is perfect, the playerbase is happy as ever. Even you still continue to play with those toxic cheaters, even though you claim you don't like it, and you will continue playing and consuming after you are done with this thread. If some player's sentiment on forums contradict with the general stats, everyone would listen to the stats, and that's what they do.

This has been an issue with the game for years now. BHVR has had plenty of opportunities to do something about toxicity. Most we ever got was the chat filter which has always been a poor fix to a problem that requires better moderation.
