Here are the statistics for the Hong Kong server
https://www.bilibili.com/opus/1170923967458836520?spm_id_from=333.1387.0.0
Data from the Hong Kong servers has been released on the Chinese video site bilibili.Alarmingly, even solo survivors have a 49% escape rate. Furthermore, at high rates, 34% are 4 SWF. While many voices in the Asian servers argue that survivors should be nerfed more than killers, this might be the reason why.Several images are reproduced from the above URL.For other statistical data, please see the URL.
The table above shows the kill rate of the Killer. The table below shows the survivor escape rate. (Left: Hong Kong, Right: Global) (Top: All Rates, Bottom: High Rates)
Survivor escape rates and SWF counts at high MMR.
From left to right: 1 player, 2 players, 3 players, 4 players.
The top table shows Hong Kong server data, the bottom table shows global data.
And here are all the rates.

- I follow a lot of Asian streamers. In general, killer does much less tunneling than European and American servers, and (this is really generalizing) I've noticed that Asian killers are generally worse than those in other parts of the world. Additionally, survivors tend to play "altruistic" much less, so you'll rarely see hook exchanges or a chain of hooks due to altruism. You'll rarely find two survivors healing each other... because many are self-sufficient, so you can never pressure two survivors at once. Give priority to generators, open the exit gates, and escape. In large numbers, this really makes a difference. DBD is exactly the same, it's the way you play that changes

**There are just a lot of people whining on the side of the killers.
*That's the way to know the answer.

You misunderstood 'Asian' and 'Hong Kong' Server.
This stats is Hong Kong Server, and it's full of China people playing the game, not just Asian. If you want to watch streamers in this server, you have to go to Bilibili (https://www.bilibili.com/), not YouTube.
I almost exclusively play in this server, so I can share with you how these survivors play.
- They have their own voice comm called Kook, so every SWF are fully coordinated. (I was even invited for some games too)
- They have full meta builds, and each Survivor has a 'role' (Chase Build, Repair Build, Unhook Build, Totem Build, etc.)
- Shoulder of Burden is EXTREMELY common, even in Solo Queue. (I see it almost every game)
- If gen is almost done, they always finish the gen on killer's face, even if they're going down.
- They always assume killers have Pain Res, and let go when killer is about to hook so they don't scream.
- They play to WIN, not meme. Meme SWF are really rare here.
As for how killers play.
- Players here commonly agree if killers don't tunnel/camp, he lose. Even survivor mains agree this.
- Killers that go for '12 Hooks' are considered 'Good Samaritan' (大善人)
- 4 Gen Slowdowns are mandatory, otherwise gen go too fast.
- Playing anything other than S tier killer means torturing yourself, unless you're extremely good
- Wesker is considered weak here, if you believe it.
Currently I am World Ranking 43 Vecna (The First), and I only managed to get 65% Kill Rate.
I lose games very pathetically even at this level. (This is full repair build, with EXTREMELY good players)
This match is those I actually won, and just see their perks. This is VERY COMMON here.

Oh, and one more thing, Cheaters are EXTREMELY common in this server too.
I was a Spirit Main for some time, and I was accused of hacking because almost every Spirit Mains there are hacking, especially if they're good in getting hits.

There was no novel excuse.

Furthermore, we must address a significant challenge regarding game integrity. Beyond the high-intensity playstyles found on the HK server, the prevalence of unauthorized third-party software has deeply impacted the player experience. There appears to be a highly organized ecosystem that provides a continuous stream of disposable accounts for these purposes. Even when enforcement actions are taken, new accounts often reappear almost instantly, making the issue feel persistent and difficult to fully resolve. This ongoing situation remains a major source of frustration for the legitimate player base on the HK server.
While cheating can occur on both the Killer and Survivor sides, in my experience, these cheaters almost always move in packs. It’s rarely a lone wolf; it’s usually two or more people hacking together, or one cheater boosting their friends. They use these hacks to toy with legitimate players.
Having played on the JP server before and primarily playing on the HK server now, I can explicitly state that the number of cheaters in HK far surpasses those in JP. Many players are untrustworthy: Anonymous mode, low hours (under 500), private Steam profiles, empty Steam profiles, existing VAC bans, or playing from non-Steam platforms (mostly Epic Games). If you don't carefully filter players with these traits before a match, the probability of encountering a cheater is high.

But there are people who have adapted and are enjoying the game.
This sentence must be at the end.

No surprise, spirit is top 1 killer in terms of use wallhacks because you cant see her when she is phasing and its hard to spot if she is real or cheating.

Pretty much backs up the sort of experience I have had and what I have been saying for some time. SWF is more common than others like to admit, the escape rates of these teams is far higher (probably due to comms) and soloq isn't actually that bad...
-3 -
Do you play on that server?

I play on various servers, sort of have to during the times I play. Not many people are spending time on dbd between 3am and 7am.
Weirdly I have been told many times I play like an Asian player... I used to think they were being racist or something but it does seem to track right. People on those server play very different to other servers and the escape rates show it...mine is more in line with their escape rates due to me playing more like them?
-3 -
Possibly.
Important distinction is that this is the HK server, which is basically a separate entity which I know nothing about.
I know more about JP and other Asian servers, which have very objective-oriented Survivors and not so great Killers (imo). But I really can't comment on HK players since I've never seen any.
2 -
Ye they are objective orientated like me. Less altruistic like me. Play to win like me.
Killers there I find tunnel less than other servers.
I essentially play more Asian play style as survivor and more European/American as killer.
Partly why I say to people, tunnel as killer and play less altruistically as survivor. It works for me. Playstyle is a choice.

But you don't play on the Hong Kong server now, do you?
In NA/EU, a 4-man SWF is like on average 11% of the players, which means that in 8/9 matches, you are more likely to face solos, two duos, a duo and two solos, or a trio + a solo player, instead of a full 4-man team.
And out of those full 4-man teams, very few are playing in a serious manner. Now on the topic of this thread, I would love to see isolated numbers for NA East and EU Main.

As I have already mentioned I play on various servers including the HK server...as already explained, the hours I play the game means not many people on my server are active so I try others when my server is a bit dry.
Just one example... Why would I q up for over 5min as killer on my server when I can instantly get a match on HK server?
