Apply button for in-game settings
Why is there no option to apply the settings you make in the settings menu. It is really annoying, having to change the settings every time you boot up the game.
Game boots with these settings for me, even though I have changed them around since I got a new graphics card, which should be like this:
Notice how there is no "Apply" button to lock in the new settings.

Your settings file is most likely set to read only so the game can't save the settings as it can't write it to the file itself. Game saves its files to C:\Users\*computer user profile*\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Config just find the right file and take it off read only.

BHVR should put in an apply settings button to confirm any changes you make you want to make. Both to make sure your changes are going through but also to make sure you don't accidently change any settings when backing out of the settings menu.

Wonder why the GameUserSettings.ini file is write-protected by default anyways.

Because windows its in a folder that is usually hidden and most files in there is read only.

All the more reason to have a way to apply the settings in the game.
I mean, not everyone is tech-savvy enough to find the hidden folders on their PC's - Fortunately, I have been an avid user for well over 20 years.0 -
It applies them but because its read only the thing does not get saved. Having a button there would not change that.
