So, is there actually any plan to rework the MMR?

If those plans have been scrapped, that would be genuinely heartbreaking.

At this point I just assume it’s not going to happen. Even if someone from BHVR said that “yes, it’s planned”, that really doesn’t mean anything because we’ve seen many things promised but forgotten about/scrapped with no explanation. If it eventually does happen then great, I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

IF it will happen, dont expect anything. They will not suddenly add things like Chasetime or use of Perks to the MMR, as they should do if they want an accurate system. But having an accurate system is impossible in DBD, since you would need to take into account so many things (e.g. the game is vastly different if you play against a Blight with 1 Perk and a Blight with 4 Slowdowns + Blighted Crow and Blighted Rat… A escape should gain way more MMR and a Sacrifice should gain way less MMR in the second case).

They will keep it at Kills and Escapes. If anything I expect them to make it a group effort for the Survivors, so if one Survivor dies but the rest escapes, that one person will gain MMR instead of losing it. (Because lets face it, there is more to the game than just escaping)

I dont think anything will change for Killer, since I dont think that they will touch things like the overall Killer-MMR and the specific Killer-MMR.

I'm hoping they haven't been scrapped , I'm tired of getting team mates who have less than 100 hours when I have thousands of hours, and they die within the 1st 2 seconds of chase and don't know how to do gens, no wonder the kill rates are generally above 60%
