P100 Teammate Curse
This is just an observation, but consistently whenever I play a 1v4 survivor match there will be one teammate that is flagerantly worse than the rest of the team, and this teammate is usually, if not, always p100.
What makes p100 survivors play so terribly? It's very comical for me and my buddies who have to deal with this.

I personally haven't noticed this but then again I don't pay all that close attention to prestige of other players. All I can add is prestige has no relation to skill and you can get bad/good players at all prestige levels. After all it's just how much BP you dumped on a character.

Yeah P100 is not anyway show of skill it just means that person used a lot of bloodpoints on one character. I don't give much thought on prestige levels in this game for that reason.

- Survivor is a skin after all, maybe in 3 months of regular play you can have a level 100 survivor. What's even worse are the level 100 killers who are really bad, and above all Wesker and Springtrap who usually have a very high prestige and are among the worst killer players in the game. Sometimes with SWF we are literally amazed, to the point that they don't even know how to manage a basic loop and their power. In theory (I repeat in THEORY) if you have a level 100 killer, you should know the basics of your power.🤣

When playing killer, I usually find that p100 survivors are the ones who DC the moment something doesn't go their way.

P100 means nothing because you can gain blood points from anyone else and just bump it into that character and people do it to their main ones (which they should play the most) but other smart choice is to p100 character on which you want good addons often like trapper killers you want with strong addons because they just suck and being p100 gives you each bloodweb some good stuf.
In theory they should be good or know basic but that far from reality and in my experience on survivors the best ones werent never p100 characters but as you said its just skin (the survivor) compare to killers and p100 is only good for getting more addons and offerings due to having infinite lvl 50 bloodweb which gives best addons rarities often (before styptic and syrange nerf every p100 survivor run item with these two or BNP because they could do it on p100 character).
As with skins its just looks but skill thats what matters.

This is exactly why I've gone out of my way to level up multiple killers and p100 no one. So many times we get to the scoreboard and see the killer that got two hooks or desperation tunneled for 1 kill is a p100 we all go "a p100!?" and I don't want to be in the bad p100 club.

Ive got 8 p100s, and i play optimally, but can still make mistakes like anybody else, can still lose on my killers etc. Its just bloodpoints ive spent on them. Tho i do know their powers better atleast. Survivor p100s i find the reason they give up easier is like this "ive seen enough ______ to know where this is going" and then their morale drops to 0 whenever something goes wrong and they go "yea its just another one of Those rounds, why bother trying" because they've been through allot of rounds to get those points. Some even just try to leave early to avoid the whole "you were a p100!?" Thing.
Previously before they hid survivor prestige they gave up quickly because they were so used to being tunneled out over the number above their character that even the slightest sign of tunneling makes them feel the round wasnt worth sitting through. Like ive seen a killer turbo tunnel someone off hooks and go "omg i killed my first p100!" Like they were immune to tunneling or somthing lol.
But when it comes to killer p100s, they could've just earned all the points on survivor and rarely play their favorite killer. Like my friend is obsessed with trickster, but will not play killer unless 2v8 is going on so i can "help". So shed be a p100 trickster that barely knows how to play him - as an example.

- Just to clarify: you can have a P100 killer and get zero kills, but still give the survivors a hard time. I see this especially with blights trying to do the 12 hook challenge... even if they don't get any kills, they still had an amazing game. I'm talking about P100 killers who struggle to get two hooks in the entire game.
