DBD Chapter Concept: The Lord of The Rings

Hi there! Had nothing to do, so I crafted this concept just on pure improvisation and with pure love for the character. It might be more on a "dashy-style" killer side, yet I thought that there's no point to overload him with mechanics, but to implement some of the most iconic ones. Yeah, the perk icons are AI generated cuz I can't do it myself, but AI sucks when it comes to addons, so I'll leave it to your fantasy. Enjoy and comment - completely open for critique — basically the whole point of this creation is to be objectively evaluated

Also — I'm not a math guy or either DBD's values aficionado, so some of those values in perks or addons might be under/overpowered. Enjoy!

DBD Chapter Concept: The Lord of The Rings
Killer name:
The Necromancer (Sauron)

Movement Speed: 115% (4.6 m/s)

Height: Tall

Terror Radius: 40 meters

Weapon: Dread Mace

Power:
Issildur’s Bane

Special Affliction: Issildur’s Bane

At the start of the trial, the One Ring is gifted to one out of 4 survivors, thus making him the Ringbearer. His power is inactive during the first 30 seconds of the match. After that survivor is able to wear it, making him completely transparent and revealing auras of generators, survivors, killer, chests and totems in a 16 meter radius.

The effect lasts 5 seconds and each usage gains 1 token up to 5. For each token the reveal radius is increased by 2 meters and a stackable 1% Hindered effect is applied. When 5 tokens are achieved, the Ring becomes inactive and the aura of the ringbearer is revealed to The Necromancer for 2 seconds and Terror Radius with Hindered is continuously applied.

While not being chased or not using a ring for 25 seconds, the ringbearer must pass a short series of hard skill checks. If ringbearer fails, the ring is used automatically, gaining additional token. After that the ringbearer can remove the ring only after a short period of time (3 seconds). If the ringbearer drops the Ring on the floor, the aura of it will be highlighted to The Necromancer.

"It was in this moment, when all hope had faded, that Isildur, son of the king, took up his father's sword... The Ring passed to Isildur, who had this one chance to destroy evil forever, but the hearts of men are easily corrupted."

Primary Power: Darkness Advance

Press ability button 1 to prepare for an attack, slightly slowing yourself in the process. While the power bar is full, press the attack button and unleash the series of 3 swings with your weapon. The first one propels you in the chosen direction and consecutive swings increase that distance. Between each swing you are able to change your direction, slightly adjust the camera angle or, after a brief moment of inaction, cancel the ability. If the survivor is hit by any swing, he loses a health state, the rest of them stop and ability goes on cooldown. Hitting a palette with a third swing will break it.

Cooldown: 8 seconds (after the swing connects or the series end)

Secondary Power: Reclaim the Ring

If the Necromancer downs the Ringbearer, press ability button 2 to reclaim the The One Ring. Once reclaimed, the Necromancer can unlock his true power and enter the Doom Incarnate for 80 seconds, improving his Darkness Advance and gaining The Lidless Eye.

Special Affliction: The Lidless Eye and Darkness Advance

"Concealed within his fortress, the lord of Mordor sees all. His gaze pierces cloud, shadow, earth, and flesh. You know of what I speak, Gandalf: a great Eye, lidless, wreathed in flame."

When the Necromancer enters the Doom Incarnate status, The Lidless Eye appears above the killer's head. It passively stalks its surroundings in 90 degree sight and 36 meter radius. Survivors caught in his line of sight will scream and reveal their aura to the Necromancer for 3 seconds.

Once the survivor is revealed, press ability button 2 facing a survivor to lock him in place for 1 second and teleport to him after a 2.5 seconds delay.
Cooldown: 15 seconds

Once in Doom Incarnate status, improves Darkness Advance’s propelling distance and charge speed, decrease cooldown to 5. During this status, survivors hit by each swing have the following effects applied:
First swing: Exhaustion and Bleeding
Second swing: Deep wound
and Hemorrhage

Third Swing: Instantly puts survivor into Dying State.

After Dooms Incarnate expires, the Issildur’s Bane is gifted to a random survivor other than a previous Ringbearer
