Should BHVR branch out to including comic book IP's?
BHVR has included IP's from everything from games, movies, bands and even last year a character from an anime as a killer. But what we have not seen really is IP's from comic books. It is an untapped market really as we could see characters like Spawn or even something from the old horror comics like Tales From The Crypt.

I don't see why not? They're doing comics now for some of their killers and we have so many other mediums in the game, it would be cool to see.

I would argue tokyo ghoul is a comic and technically the walking dead (tho they took from the show).
but my problem is most comics are superheros. (i wouldnt mind) but does tale of the crypt have any iconic characters they can really focus on?

Halloween was the comic book version

NGL, I would love to see a Werewolf by Night chapter. Here is the MCU version trailer, but Werewolf by Night is a 70's classic about a werewolf named Jack Russell and a monster hunter by the name of Elsa Blooodstone (yes, that Elsa Bloodstone, IYKYK.)
I mean, it could totally happen, as they have a pretty good relationship with Disney with Alien.0 -
Not exactly. They did the comic version of Laurie for her facial features because they couldn't get the rights to Jamie Lee Curtis' likeness, but Myers himself was still the movie version.

I disagree on the notion that Tokyo Ghoul is a comic but agree that they are comparable. Tokyo Ghoul is a manga which differentiates from a comic in many ways, specifically it is characterized by its lack of color, writing stylizations (and its read right to left). Comics use the same text bubble format but are generally colored and are written more in line with a visual novel.
