Why are killers playing this event so crazy
Were never going to get to that modifier at this rate that people are playing. Im talking killers who are slugging all match or hard tunneling (idc about in normal but in the event thats selling for both sides). Like almost every match today has had killers playing like that. They need to worry about getting the modifier up first💀
Also want to mention well be bringing anniversary offerings and itll be completely wasted like cmon if u wanna play like that do normal

Tunneling is a logibal and reliable strategy in the base game, so naturally it carries over to events.
That, and events bring less experienecd players, or players who don't enjoy Killer, to the Killer role to get challenges done. A lot of these people would rather opt for quicker and easier matches, ergo they default to tunneling.

You know, tunneling isn't so bad as a strategy, it's only on the high mobility ones I have an issue with it because there is just no room to breathe.
Events honestly probably would be a lot more tolerable if we finally dealt with them, but that's just my opinion.2 -
I alr said idc in normal mode but when theyre doing it in the event mode its not working with the event at all lmao

idk if i'm just locked into high mmr or if the event is terribly killer sided but it's not fun at all

Obviously because of Fast Track… oh wait.

Survivors just need a secondary objective.

The last time I bought streamer I went up against toolboxes so now I'm hoarding.

Someone actually brought Fast Track into one of my killer matches. Bless their heart.

Thing is blood gens are bit faster than normal gens like 20-25% and killers power to stop them is very small compare to regular gens like you have few perks that effect them and they arent very reliable as regression plus lot of gen blocking perks dont fuction on blood gens only merciless storm and that perk is weak against survivors that can hit skillchecks thats why no one runs it in live only few people and most of them are playing doctor so thats for gen deffence.
I have to say blood pumps can spawn quite close to blood gens which only makes them faster and killer doesnt have many perk options here only endgame perks plus chase and info perks that arent working with normal gens like nowhere to hide. Again best strategy is to get kill fast here and it works even better with endgame builds so no wonder why many tunnel or slug when they can this mode isnt friendly to weaker killers tbh only difference between this year and the year ago (for bloodmoon) is that few oerks that effect bloodgens are added and killer powers finally work so freddy and pig can be played, sadakos tapes dont dissable ability to hold canisters with blood so yeah thats it.

Yeah, this is the other one. But I just thought it is funny after being told so many times that Killers will be tunneling more due to Fast Track, that they also tunnel in the mode in which it has way less value.
But that one regular Generator they need to do will be crazy fast!

I had what I think passes for a "chill" Blight the other night. He had no slow down perks and was going after the unhooker, but he still took an opportunity to slug the entire team to finish the game. We tried our best to recover (the Bill even had Unbreakable) but it didn't help in the end and we all abandoned.
I don't know why some players play in the event like this but they always do. Splitting the queues the way that they do, presumably in the hope that players might treat events differently, has been a failed experiment imo. That said, there isn't really anything new or different for Killers to engage with - just a different kind of gen to kick. So I can't blame Killers too much for playing a normal round of DBD when not much is different from regular 1V4.
Tbh, These days I always expect to encounter sweaty players in the event queue and I am never disappointed. The only way for me to enjoy the events is to stick on a meme build that I enjoy and to not care at all about winning or losing or getting tunnelled out.
