DBD Appreciation Thread
Firstly, I truly want to say that DBD has been an amazing experience for me throughout the years and that I feel will only get better as time progresses. I've been playing DBD since late 2017 and I've had to fortunate experience of enjoying this game with minimum-non existent complaints. I thank you guys for all the hard work and dedication throughout the years to making the game more interactive and entertaining. And I want to appreciate the balance team, I know there's so many threads created that's dedicated to spending time criticizing map RNG, hitbox jank, buffs, nerfs, but honestly? After the recent update regarding color selections for easier visibility and accessibility, the dev and mod teams are actually playing 4D chess while we’re all playing checkers.
The way they manage to balance the high-octane stress of Survivor with the absolute power fantasy of being a Killer is nothing short of a miracle. Every update usually feels like a love letter to the community. They actually DO listen to many niche requests. You want a buff/nerf for a specific underutilized/overutilitzed mechanic? They’re probably already coding it. The mods take great strides in keeping this community civil, which is a harder task to accomplish than looping a Nurse for five gens.
Only positive vibes and "GG WP" in the endgame chat. What are some positive things the community here appreciates whether it be the gameplay, gaining new friends in the fog, the dev team, the mod team, the updates, etc? Share your thoughts.

Taking 10 years to add basic accessibility options for players sounds more like a game of hoop and stick and not 4D chess.

I've been enjoying dbd recently after coming back from a long break. Trying my best to spread good vibes as killer by always letting at least 1, usually 2 survivors escape.
