First things first: After seeing the recent changes they're planning to make I'm confused. Let's just cut out the middle man and add voice chat for the survivors, then people can stop complaining about solo q and we don't have to do the weird roundabout letting you see what killer it is mid match thing.

Speaking of cutting things out, remove the basekit unhook endurance/haste. People want to complain about camping but heres the thing. It takes 80 seconds per hook state for a survivor to die. If the killer is camping you should be able to complete 3 gens and be ≈70% done with the next two give or take because of travel time and how many survivors are working on the gen. This was what you did back before the devs put the arm floaties on, punish the lack of pressure by doing gens. Is this fun? no. Honestly as someone who mostly plays killer I still don't understand just sitting at the hook camping, it's boring. But a valid tactic, plus it isn't campin if there are survivors running around the hook. The killer isn't going to just pretend they didn't see you and walk away. It's like if you played a shooter and complained enough online at people who use a grenade launcher so the devs nerf it into the ground/remove it from the game. Boring? yes. Remove it from the game? no.

Leading to the next thing. Bring back, either by reverting or adding new ones, the perks working around downed survivors. Like knockout crippling downed survivors for a little bit after being downed or deerstalker letting you see downed survivors (though honestly neither of these are particularly good perks) etc. Slugging isn't particularly fun either, bit if you're going against 1-4 sabbo survivors its sometimes your only option. Not to mention if you're all down your life saver lets you disconnect without penalty (though I think there should be a timer on that in case someone has a perk to pick themselves up, had many games where we could've won but people just gave up) Is slugging fun? no. But should you remove it? also no. Not to mention there are a million anti slugging perks for survivors, yet no pro slugging perks for killers anymore. Unless you count the third seal, but like hexes get cleansed immediately anyway.

My point is, aside from my dislike of handing out crutches. (especially because where are my killer crutches? Killers don't get any anti instant unhook crutch, or anti genrush crutch, etc. If you're concerned about those things you have to bring perks. So fair is fair if survivors are concerned about those things they should have to bring perks) There seems to be this anti-playstyle sentiment where someone doesn't like a playstyle so the devs remove or hinder it for them. (basically making the survivor rulebook for killers manifest) to the extent that at some point we're just going to have only one specific way to play and no others because we just remove what we don't like. (I mean we do kind of already have that with playing against the same 10-12 perks 90% of the time)

Stop removing/hondering playstyles with basekit. If you don't like a playstyle build perks around it.

Of course I realize this will fall on deaf ears because nerfing survivors is like pulling teeth (ie deadhard) but maybe I am holding out the false hope that we'll actually do something good to make the game more enjoyable than just "lets increase pallet density because the pig got a couple kills". Or maybe, maybe I'm just insane talking to the walls where nothing I say or do will actually change anything and the only thing I accomplished is wasting my own time.

Pretty much couldn't have said it better myself, and this is coming from a P100 Pig main.
